I can be very naive at times. Or it might be called "polly-anna", where I think everyone is good and will behave well. Of course, I am often disappointed. Had a first date with a libra other day. We had emailed for several weeks prior to, so had a friendly connection. Very simple, not lustful. The date was uncomfortable due to his timidness (see libra board if you're interested). Next day I wrote a short message thanking him for a gift he brought and made small talk. He did not reply.

It left me wondering why, even if he isn't interested in me, could he not send a simple, polite reply? I tend to think people have the same behaviors relating to simple, human behavior as myself. And that we should all treat each other well.

Good lord, I AM naive AND pollyanna!! I think it's cus I really have little dating experience as I met my husband at 17 and married at 22. Never really dated til after the divorce. And not that much cus I had another relationship.

I need to see the world as IT is, not as *I* am. It can be such an ugly world, though, and my Polly wants to stay in her pocket. :/

Ohmygod yesss!!! I don't know, I'm not the biggest fan of Libras and what you said about yours isn't surprising. You're probably bouncing around his head and he just can't make a decision. Plus leaving it open ended will let him give you some sorry excuse in the future. Good for him.

But yeah, I'm the same way. Once I'm just getting started with someone, I'm so forgiving and accepting. It's all good. And then once things end up getting crazy as they usually do, I kick myself for ignoring the massive red flags along the way. Gullible and naive.

It's become a priority, though, to see the world more objectively and not take things so personally. Gotta borrow some of that Aquarian detachment. Somehow.

ding ding ding!! You all are singing my song. yeah, if he was into me, I'd a heard by now. We exchanged several fun emails and did the eHaromny question crap prior to the meeting, so he liked me then, guess there was no chemistry when we met. Anyhow, the pollyanna said to be nice and send an email, AND it also said "aw, he is a nice, sweet guy, he will be mature enough to right back and be a friend". Naw....some men, and women too, think they can't hold a mature face after a date of no chemistry. Bah...feck him....I did the right thing by being nice after.
