We know nothing

Posted by ButtWipeHardly, but you've reminded me of something! The shovel of knowledge never stops digging. The deeper you go, the more you bury yourself in nothing.
We know nothing yet for an instance we know everything. In a world that is ever changing and in constant flux, where knowledge is convoluted by those who provide it, knowing what something truly means would mean to at least get close to experiencing it or actually delving into deep deep research yourself. However it isn't the attainment of knowledge that should be fulfilling, it should be the journey for it teaches us everything we need to know about us, and life.

Heres a question for you..
Now that you have awakened...
Unbound by the illusion mankind has made for itself.
What now?

Posted by ButtWipeThanks for being a great sport.Posted by 037That proclamation itself is vague, what exactly don't we know though? Or better yet what exactly are you referencing that we don't know? Because we know many things, and these things help us function in our daily lives. Now deeper knowledge of the world and this life, yeah we most likely don't know much of it. But we know things. Or else we wouldnt exist much longer. We're vessels of knowledge.Posted by ButtWipeThe fact that we know nothing.Posted by 037Posted by ButtWipeHardly, but you've reminded me of something! Even the road to achieving knowledge is not known. So, how can we journey on it?

I dislike anti-knowledge sentiment. It's a form of self-loathing, which I find objectionable. We DO know things, but not everything. And we continue to learn. What is important isn't to understand that we know nothing, but to be able to distinguish that which is known from that which isn't, can't, or shouldn't be known.

Posted by SoulNow you've got me thinking about cheesecake! Mmmm
It's all about filling in the empty spaces. It's like this with our normal human lives, and the entire universe as a whole. Only with both the universe and our lives we never get to completely full these spaces because time makes sure we die first. But hey, there's still cheesecake.
