Not really in that sense, I don't think so.
A good challenge would be to know what really happened that led to your breakup. And what you really want to do moving forward.

We were on a date and he got really vulnerable about how unhappy he is in life and then that night texted me saying he needs to figure things out and wouldn't mind if I dated other people bc he doesnt want to waste my time. Is that some kind of test to see if I really will move on?

I don't think he literally meant you going after others. You really weren't interested in him in the first place, maybe that's why you moved on? You should ask him about his intentions.

I was very interested in him and hes been expressing the same to me as far as I know. And hes done things for me that he said he doesnt do for others. And then he said what he said and I was confused and I'm not gonna run after him after what hes said to me.
No, passive aggressive moves do not work with Leos. It basically justifies the breakup for a Leo. Once you have started dating another person a Leo will usually see that as closure.

This is true for any man, regardless of the sign.
A challenge means you are fighting for the same prize against other contenders when there is something to win, that is the whole point. There is no challenge left afterwards. I think most men lose interest immediately after seeing another man being with the woman he wanted. It's like your head clears up all the delusion you had. 🙂

I know of some men who would see this as a challenge or a wake up call. There have been number of stories on here of air sign men popping back up and pursuing exes after the girl had supposedly moved on to another guy. I know this tactic does not really work for fire signs though.
