Clarify my libra

Hi everyone, new to this forum but I've read a lot of posts from time to time and always found the advice helpful.

A few months ago, I met a libra male who also happens to work at a local store so we met through work. He was very intense at first and couldn't get enough of my time. Out of the blue, he says he has something to tell me and that it's very important. But he doesn't. So I asks if there's another woman and he says there's no one else but me and he only wants me. He goes on to say he can't tell me bcuz it would put me in danger. But he never tells me so I start to push him away. He keeps coming back and I keep pushing him away. We stopped talking for a few weeks and out of the blue he hits me up again. He says there is no problem and acts like it never happened. So I decided to leave that topic alone and give him another shot. He now randomly calls or texts which I figure he must be bored bcuz he's not hitting me up like he used to. This time around though, things are now different. He's keeping in contact. Says he wants more. Says he sees us together long term even moving in together. But has yet to hang out or go on a date. Now I'm thinking he's being cautious bcuz I pushed him away in the beginning. He says he wants to hang out but than we don't. He randomly calls and we talk for hours. He gets upset when I tell him we need to hang up so we can get some sleep. What is the deal here? Someone please give me a clue to what I'm not seeing please. I feel like he's interested but being very cautious which is why we haven't spent time together. Maybe I need to back off. Any input is welcomed. Thanks.

He's not being cautious. He is playing with you. As Tiz says, there is no point letting giving more than a person deserves when they are using you for their own needs.

Yeah, I sometimes feel as if it's when he needs attention. Thanks for the honest answers guys.
