Fights to test Love

Is it just me— or does every libra male creates silly arguments and fights to see the depth of commitment from your partner?

thelibran..Do you do that?? Why? Does that turn you on to get others emotional about you?

Actually this is something I am not very tollerant of when other people do, so I don't do it myself. The only thing I will do that I would consider similar is make fun of myself in front of the other person or put words in their mouth just to get a reaction, it is always in jest though and if the other person doesn't get that I am joking around I explain it so they don't think I am being a jerk.

You don't happen to have Scorpio in Venus or Mars do you? My Scorp ex did this a lot.

Im sure that my LIbran puts words in my mouth....I tend to say the same words at the same time he says them!!! scarey!! Hmmmm God I hope Im not actually "reading" him LMAO!!!

But fighting? even little ones? haven't noticed that at all yet but he is very cynical and that's a bit hard to get used to - he likes starting up discussions he knows will get me a bit "revved up" and then tries to calm again so perhaps that is a tendancy to get a bit of fight into the equation?

ohh fighting doesnt mean physical or war... its always with words.. carefully picked... i guess mind games is the right word in these cases.

I feel sick for days to weeks after an argument. The last thing I would want is my partner to think ill of me so I would never do this.

Yeah, that is how I took it, I still can't stand it. If someone wants to argue with me to test me the only lesson their going to learn is that they won't win, and it will sting enough to keep them from doing it again, or next time it will hurt more. If there is something big that needs to be brought out in the open and taken care of then it is totally different and I am a very compassionate arguer, but if it is for the sake of testing, control or at all agendad then my verbal daggers come out.

i get you thelibran, my libra do that too...we argue a lot..almost everytime we talk actually, I personally like it, and he admitted he likes it to, but after arguments we act like nothing happens...moods shift so fast, we seem to mutuall understand we need to stimulate our brains...lol..we argue about our religion, culture and stuff..but we mix joke in the arguments so its more like a game but we put a lot of truth in the contents, no matter how wacky we say it...

its actually fun for me..maybe because i like to argue..i am sure he does too because when i am being nice, he seem to provoke me to tease him and to argue wit him, he'll say " your not trying to p/ss me today" then he will start...always with a smile..but the topic is deep...its something i can very well handle, i guess i make him go nuts with my witty banter hahaha

ofcourse we mix lots of humour and make it pleasent. But always stays on the topic. Always healthy arguments and fights. 😉 aahh... infact the word healthy works only within air signs i guess.

Wait, so do you argue to test love or for intillectual sparring? I do the latter, I still can't get into the former though?
