NO irish, she isn't but the Libra she was involved with is one of the ones who didn't want a relationship...
Contrary to what you believe Irish there are several people who can be FWB's at the time they don't want to be in a relationship, until they chose to be in one, especially libra males.
well you see that's what I was saying....in regard to FWB? the fair thing to do is to discuss it BEFORE it happens..duh LOL. And if you're going to continue the FWB scenario? you discuss it from time to time to ensure everybody is on the same page. Whatever, Im not going there that's for sure.
Leos are good and apparently Leos and Libras go well together so I hope your date goes really well ๐
***grow up with this friends with bennies crap......its actually starting to sound hilarious now...***
I am grown, that is why I can be in an FWB scenario if I feel like it. I am grown, grown people do what they please.
And trust whenever I did have a FWB situation it was made clear initially and throughout, if anything changed for me, that was also made clear.
Guys aren't the only ones capable of this. Girls who, on the otherhand think because they are intimate with a guy that guy wants a relationship with them is extremely naive. I guess that would be you irishlibra. Be grown, not naive. In whichever situation you prefer. If you don't like FWB, then don't be in one, but don't pout because others are capable.
Oh and Irishlibra, your little scenario happened with you. With me it was more like.
guy - chased girl down for a couple months girl- thought he was cute, but in a relationship at the time guy - never gave up girl - went out with guy a couple times after relationship ended guy and girl - layed ground rules for what each wanted. guy - wasn't ready for a relationship and wanted to be friends and see where things went. girl- cool getting to know a person is cool guy - started expressing how much he liked girl, but still wasn't ready for a relationship all after the sex. girl - expressed she likes the guy, but relationship really wasn't the plan and lets remain friends.
irishlibra, you should take up reading principals, we did start out as friends w/o benefits, therefore this is how we are ending. Simple. Even if a person starts as FWB, if it isn't working out and the two still care for eachother, there is always an option to remain friends w/o bene's. Only mature adults understand this though.
grow up with this friends with bennies crap......its actually starting to sound hilarious now...
scenario....guy (usually!!!!!)...i think that i like the way that she looks (or maybe i can get a free one in before i tell her im just using her) so i am going to f*** her.
guy...after he got what he wanted....i really like you as a 'friend' (mind you they probably just met)...but i dont want a 'relationship'
girl...ok, but i really like you (thinking maybe hell change his mind)

Not how it usually plays out. Sometimes we all just need to shag. There really is no shame in it.
After spending my entire adult life in long term serious relationships, being single was a shock. Not having my sexual side taken care of was crazymaking. I was grumpy and stressed.
What is more likely to happen is you will go out with someone once or twice, realize they aren't the one, for any number of reasons, but are a nice good person. Usually the people involved know that they aren't it for each other. It is just casual dating. It is when someone is lead on or lying to themselves about what they really want that the hurt happens. If people were more self-aware, less hurt would happen. When people use sex to control, manipulate, that is when the hurt happens.
If it is meant to be a serious relationship, it just kinda happens. People expect every date to end in marriage. As people get to know each other compatibility or incompatibility creep up. If your needs aren't being met, this isn't a good choice for a romantic relationship. It is really that simple.
People get all fricked up over nothing because they think their sexuality is bad and evil and they HAVE to make it work. That isn't the case. It just is a part of us.
As a grown up, you know that sex IS important. We all need tenderness. It is what makes us human.
Friends are usually the best choice for no string sex because you know the person and know that a romantic thing probably won't develop because it would have by now. You usually trust them. They trust you. You like and even love each other but living togethre? FOOooorget it!
And it wasn't until I started hanging out with men as friends and talking to them as friends that I realized just how common casual sex was. I am still kinda blown away by it.
Yes we all have our own opinions about matters, however we have to be able to accept other's opinions and preferences without judging them, because they don't agree with our own. Again, that comes with maturity.
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving..I texted my Libra friend and wished him Happy Thinksgiving and we chatted back and forth for awhile..I can tell he missed me. That was the first time we communicated since I told him that I could only be his friend since he was still involved with someone. I must say I think about him all the time but know its not going any where as long as he is with her. I just wonder if he is even conflicted at all about his feelings for me and would he express it to me ?
