It's hard for me to know how I feel about someone until I'm away from them for an extended amount of time. If I'm away and I get the feeling like I can't wait to be in their presence again...a longing for them, then I know I'm in love!

spot on! I don't fall to quickly. most of the time, I don't even realize I've fallen for someone already until I notice how much I care once I'm away from them.
I'm in lust quickly but it's not love.
