Weirdness (Page 2)

See I am the opposite, I am a Libertarian at heart....conservative by vote and I think that while we shouldn't be letting someone suffer because they can't get the help they need....it is the responsibility of the individual to ensure their sucess.

Hey, look what I started! Here's what happened: Libra Girl approached the employer in a typical Libra way. She took her Bible with her and simply asked him, "I want you to read this Bible verse and tell me what you were thinking when you fired 'Jane Doe.'"

He read the verse and closed the Bible and shoved it back to her. He said she was being condescending and "it's not the same" (being a Christian) in the business world.

And, you guys, I WAS supportive of her---I didn't tell her NOT to do it! I certainly never told she was WRONG. And I told her I was proud of her to stand up to him. And, BTW, despite what the majority of you are implying I have stood up against injustice and handled MANY difficult situations in a confrontative way---can you imagine an Aries NOT be confrontative— Yes, Aries may take a different approach, but that doesn't mean it's automatically wrong or won't get the results we want (because isn't it, after all, GOOD results that we want?).

I can comment on Libra Girl's behavior and my point of view without being JUDGMENTAL----just started this thread to point out behavior I hadn't seen before and share my point of view with you (which was I thought it was WEIRD). The results with the confrontation, approached in that way, was pretty much the way I thought it would be---people are people and they automatically express their natures---this employer came off as a hypocritical Christian from the beginning. Frankly, I just would not waste my time with such a guy----that doesn't sustain evil, it's just realistic.

It also seems that many of you say if I don't agree with how Libra Girl thinks or handles things, I shouldn't have anything to do with her----wow---NONE of us would have many friends then! DIFFERENCES are what make relationships delightful.

I also like kg's idea of putting money into a CD. (I know what you mean---BTW I invest in ALL my friends' lives, not just LG). I have found kg's wisdom beneficial many times. (Thanks!).

I see, her employer conducts himself by only being a Christian on Sunday's or ...when he's not at work or doing any business. How convenient for him. For the rest of us, he's still a hypocrite and she did right to call him out on it! Bravo for her!!
