Letting Go

TempleJaguar got me to thinking:

Which groups of signs do you think have the hardest time letting go of things, people, situations, etc.?

Fire
Air
Water
or Earth?

From my own personal observations, I say it's Water signs, followed by Air.
Earth rounds out 3rd and Fire lets go the quickest.

I think some Libras first, then maybe some water signs, then some fire, then earth, then other air signs.

Most librans I have known take forever to get over a person, but so do pisces and some cancers and definitely scorp men more so, than woman.

I must admit, most scorp women can let go and never turn back. Seriously

Not for any Libra guys I know... It is either they go back and forth with that person, or it takes a really long time for them to truly get over them. Or maybe get over me 😉 LOL. No but seriously, I have seen a couple do that with other partners.

Being a fire sign?? well we love deeply and are way loyal so its VERY hard when we are in fact in love. If its just a casual thing? not so hard but we still find it hard to let go of a friendship.

That's what I thought chats. Hehehe 🙂 Fire signs can be so loveable and the best friends, might I add.

Yeah, Chatz is STILL loyal to me and I only made it half-way across the Atlantic.

LOL...the loyalty though, bites us in the ass too many times 😛

When it comes to a libra, everything depends. Sometimes we can get over someone in few hours or days. Sometimes it take ages.

I think Air and Water signs let go the quickest

Fire signs have the hardest time letting go, pride or ego thing, hate failing

Earth, well I know a lot a Earth signs that have that I could care less attitude but will hold on a bit to see whats their. Ever piss off a Taurus male brrrrrrr, will get kicked to the curb quick.

Yeah. I have noticed this. I really admire it. I want everyone to be happy and a peaceful. A solution that makes everyone happy.

If we aren't in love, I don't think we even blink and it is done. It really depends on how emotionally invested. I have know Libras to mourn years. But if we aren't in love, we aren't too vexed about it.

have you guys seen the scorpio board, man it gets heated over their, love roaming on that board, the women are much different than any other sign I have ever encountered.

Earth signs are the hardest to let go of anything. Once they make up their mind....that's it.
Then:
Water
Fire
Air

Although, there's always exceptions in each of those groups.

I am a Fire sign (Leo) and I will try and try and try and then finaly let go , even after I lelt go .. Im still loyal to that person ...ugh.. :p

at first it was an intensely overwhelming feeling inside but on the surface , you will see a very calm face ! Then there is the process of analyzing / cutting the past events into pieces - like a motion picture inside the head , then comes a heavy rock in the heart. Finally , it was too much to contain so everything just stopped , like a factory automatically shut downs before the machines broke because they overwork.Then rolling into a little dark cave to enjoy the "happy" solitude in order to nurture .After sometimes , " who is that , again ? " 🙂 Well , that only happened if the people are very important to me , otherwise , I will just smile and shrug ! I guess being a spiritual person does help the healing process faster. Though sometimes I scold myself for forgetting someone too quickly ...Feeling that once felt seems never back even I try.

my friend is a scorpio...she lets things go in seconds. She gets angrrrrry and lets her anger take over and *poof* before you know it, she has let it go.

I'm an aquarius....i have a hard time letting things go. I love ppl and once i consider them my friend or lover, i hold on 4ever.

My other 2 friends.....gemini- she holds on longer than ANYONE i know.
pisces- shes about level with me.

It's weird, but Geminis do like to hold on to their friends. Or so I've noticed with my Gem male friends. Some of my *best* friends are Gem males, and despite occasional unreliability 🙂, they are very loving and amusing, as long as they think you're *smart*!

Libras I don't know about. As a Scorp female, I am loyal, loyal , loyal, until you disrespect me, then you don't exist. It takes me a long time to get to that point, though, and I will put up with your sh*t for quite a while if I think you're worth it, or if you've been good to me in the past, and are going through a rough time.

Accept for scorp females. Everyone has mentioned we are good at letting go almost immediately "Poof Be Gone."

I think it shows that air signs hold on the longest when in love.... Libra, gemini and Aqua according to most of the posts here.

HP, even though I am one, I find Fire Signs pretty self-centered---SOME are sentimental, but most that I know are not (really depends on their upbringing, I think). Sentimental people tend to hold on to things, people, momentos, etc. The Water Signs BY FAR in my opinion hang on to EVERYTHING because they are so EMOTIONAL and their FEELINGS are linked to their memories. TOUGH for them not to be sentimental. Earth Signs? Most I know can walk away from anything (they like that SOLIDITY in their lives). They can be SOLID and STRONG forever w/ people, family, friends, events---BUT if they PERCEIVE things have changed they can let it go and never look back. Air Signs seem very sentimental to me also (it's all in their HEADS---thinkin' stuff, developing memories w/ no emotional attachement) and are EXTREMELY faithful to their friends, family and anything else they are interested in. Yeah, they can walk away when necessary, but it seems more difficult for them than other Signs.
