"Time heals all wounds" how do you all feel about this statement?
It heals wounds alright tends to leave nasty scars tho!
As I said to the Ais' mum the other day.
There are times where I just forget, bad memories pushed out and filled with newer bad memories along with the good. I will never really forget and I will never forgive but life goes on.

I'd like to think scars can be pretty beautiful in the right light.I agree. Physical scars are sexy also. Everyone has a story and some stories are more apparent, whether mentally or physically. It makes a person beautiful and unique. A story left to be opened and read.

Alright, this brings up a good question...
What's your best scar and the story behind it?

Don't disappoint me, Siren! I wish for a good story from you π

I have physical scars. Many adventures lol. Some good, all memories. I've learned to live with them. π
Feby, have a favorite one? what's the story behind it π
Okay Bro Statement of the year...
Bones will Break,
Chics dig Scars,
Pain is Temporary...
But Glory is forever!
FEBY! You got some flavor on that body of yours. Well done π

My goodness, Feby! I'm sure you glow with beauty then π You are one tough chick! I love it!
I'm still waiting on a story from you, Mermaid π
I have a scar underneath by eyebrow because I cut it open with scissors when I was little, don't let your children play with scissors!
HAHA! Hey, don't blame the scissors! CLEARLY it was USER ERROR π
The second, is in the corner of nose and eye, I ran into a fireplace.
Just so you know...
I'm laughing AT you right now, not with you! How does one *RUN* into a fire place? I would think said fireplace would not have the ability to hide nor jump out at you, Miss Siren π
The third is in the crease of my eyelid, my cat landed on and scratched the hell out of my face. Damn cats. Haha.
You have a cat?!? What kind?
I have some scars now from having my daughter. Giving birth is a battle wound, right? Ha Aye but those are the scars of love, etc π

What are YOUR scar stories, "McSteamy"!? π
Hahah let's see...
1. Not really a scar but there is actually a slight dent across the top of my head. Back when I was still in Jersey, I was jumping and doing flips on my uncle's couch. (Kids love doing that shit)
Apparently I flipped into the air at some weird angle because I came down head first into a LARGE, SOLID, WOOD coffee table.
I remember blood. Screaming moms. And being rushed to the hospital. Perhaps there is some truth wne I'm told, "You're so fucking hard headed!" π
2. Legs have a few scars on them π Nothing major but...
California = sun = shorts a lot = sometime's being clumsy equates to war wounds π
3. Slight dent on my right shin. When I was still a little VH, I was on my bike crossing the street. Lady was making a right and didn't see me. Smacked into me and threw me off my bike hard.
She was in tears running out of the car towards me thinking she killed me. I smiled, got up, dusted myself off, and rode away.

I read something equally as bro-codish today as well on Andy Murray
"That is the real lesson of the Murray story: live in the moment, live for the moment by practicising self-discipline and espouse a work ethic to improve one's self. Nothing worthwhile in life comes easy. Nobody can do the hard yards for you. It is only ever about you. Murray has had to take some hard knocks but the empty fears of self-doubt have been purged by his voracious appetite to seek, to find and not to yield."

I'm definitely finding that I'm attracted to imperfect women myself. After this past weekend, I'm very afraid that it could bite me in the ass and ruin everything I've worked for. Perhaps a little paranoia, since it seems everything turned out fine. But I really need to evaluate the type of women I keep company with. They do nothing but cause problems. I guess is some odd way, I feel I deserve anything that could happen to me as a result of my indiscretions. But if I do get a second chance, I'm done with tortured women from here on out.
My perspective when it comes to perfection....
Perfection is nice...but the one thing about perfection, it's REALLY boring.
I love my women flawed. It means she has stories and life experiences to tell π

I can't remember my scars off the top. I know I have one by my eyebrow where someone threw an empty milk crate at my head when I was defending my best friend as he was passed out drunk on the street.
Defending your best friend! That's a WORTHY STORY! Plus you can always throw it back on him...
"Remember the time I saved your ass from that deadly milk cart? That's right..."

Hey Mix! You got to have some good scar stories on ya π

One time I took a beer bottle and was making fun of people that cut themselves, I ended up slicing my arm open with it. π
Hah so a scar from entertaining π Excellent!

I have a scar story, pretty grusome, and funny at the same time. When I was 6 years old, I had a issue typing up my shoes. My mother kept me on Velcro straps as long as possible, but eventually she took the plunge and got me shoes with laces. Anyway my mother worked nights, and she would often pick me up from my grandmother's house when her shift was over. I was walking from my grandmother's front yard to my mother's car, and then I tripped on my shoe laces. I didn't tie them up properly and they became undone. I fell onto a fence, the steel fences, it it impaled my mouth. My mother was able to pull me off the fence, but I lost a lot of blood. I was rushed to emergency, and I received 6 stitches. While the scar is faint, I still have it till this day, nearly 27 years later.
This was the type of fence that impaled me.
See now THAT's a scar story π I literally cringed when you said it impaled your mouth.

Also have a scar from my bulldog's tooth getting into my arm to chew on while she was fighting another dog of ours. Head wound from things that you know about if you've been here for a bit.
You have a bulldog?!?! How big is he?
Bulldogs are awesome!

And I don't make fun of people who cut themselves anymore, because of that beer bottle. Lmao.
Hahah!
Posted by Mr. Defense
It didn't help that my grandmother picked me up from school, and gave me one hell of a whooping when I got home.
HAHAH that's a GREAT story. Don't mess with grandma!

I have two purebred english bulldogs. They're both like 60lbs I believe.
Got any pictures? How long have you had them?

I have another scar from where my mom burned me(accidentally), with a curling iron. This one's on my head, but it's always covered by my hair.I have a third scar on my cheek, from where my cat scratched me. It's really hard to see though, most people don't even notice it, and even when I tell them about it they have to squint to see it.
LOL @ the curling iron scars hahahah π
rocky - Your messages have been read even if hidden now.
From what you have shared, my gut feeling tells me there is something, that may be underlying his behaviour, that may be beyond pure laziness or selfishness. If one may ask (which you do not have to answer, if unwarranted), have he ever suffered from Depression or any hints of it in the past? Even if a person may not be full blown Depressive, it could severely affect their willingness to get up and do tasks, it is a chemical imbalance that is driving them so or it may be another form of 'affliction' (as much as I hate the word that is the only one that my mind could rattle about at the moment) which may be causing him so? Have anyone looked into those possibilities?
Simply throwing out ideas, from what have been presented thus far...

I knew the second one would happen. I told my mom not to do it, to use a different curling iron.....and she didn't listen @_@. Funny this was predicted by astrology because of all my mars influence in the 1st house, as it conjuncts it too.

Yeah, that's been a known issue.
There's also the issue that my mom has coddled him since he was born. He's typical of "youngest child" syndrome. He's taken his family for granted and now his priorities are not with family, but friends and relationships. Those tasks he has no problem dropping everything for, but the tasks that involve family - back burner status. Fuck, he forgot all about Christmas shopping for his own family one year, but managed to buy a shit ton of crap for his girlfriend. He tried to ditch the plans we'd made for my birthday for the sake of plans he'd forgotten about with a friend.
Regardless of issues, the whole thing boils down to him needing to grow up and quit being such a selfish twat. He suffers from the male affliction of all talk no action. Underlying issues or not, it's time to grow up.

There in lies the problem.
That is true and agreed to, as far as my first preposition goes, it stands resolute. It is time he gets his priorities straight and head out of his own arse. One supposes nothing more could be said except- Good Luck to you.
hah yeah these scar stories make me cringe! I don't have any cool ones π
When I was little back when the Aluminium cans still had the ones where you peel off the top, I wanted to lick all the goodness off it so I put it in my mouth and it almost sliced my tongue in half lol no scars I don't think but now there's a tongue ring there so it's hardly noticeable π
Another one, also when I was little. I thought I'd be super awesome and try out dance moves in the shower. Got shampoo in my eye couldn't see and I slipped and forehead it the corner of the shower base that scar's still there to remind how stupid I was lol.
Rest of it is from skating, broken bones and grazes from silly stunts.
Most recent one was another stupid one lol (there seems to be a pattern here) Was at work, virgal thought she'd be cool and carry 5 hot teapots in one go as she was carrying it out yep her fingers started slipping, I put my hands on them. She let go from the heat I guess but it was so close to a customer that I latched on while the boiling hot water continuously ran down my wrist for a good 10 seconds. Now my wrist looks like a picasso with different colored skin tones lol!
OH and my fondest one LOL! Again I was little! I was on the second story and wanted to see if I could jump down and land on my feet! Surely enough I did but as my feet made contact with the ground the momentum on my head kept plunging downwards! hahaha
Woke up in hospital the next day with a massive bandage around my head, silly boy.
There in lies the problem.

If the explosion of turd relieved some tension, by all means, do, it always helps one way or another. If I was in your position, I would be drawing very near, to such a state where I would want to strangle him (figuratively). Same parents, different DNA strand, therein lies your problem...

Please say you will be careful and come back in one piece, unlike Humpty Dumpty who fell over the wall. We need you safe and sound after your world tour (enjoy it!) π

@Aquanoz Go with someone who can put you back together. Also-do you have health insurance? Does that kind of thing come automatically with the trip? Is there some kind of visitor's health insurance? Lol.
There exists international traveler's insurance applicable world wide, of course further details would depend on where and with whom he makes his purchase.

Well can't promise I'll be careful π It is Vegas after all haha! But yes I shall be in one piece by the end of it all!
And yes to Jahls! Though my first world tour I didn't plan much in that respect this time around I can't really afford NOT to be careful lol.

Rocky, I can't feel any more different than I do from my brother and sister.
I COULDN'T agree with Legs any more. I have one brother. Leo, in fact. Oddly enough, I'm the one who loves to lead, is loud and proud, and loves being the center of attention.
He's the artsy quiet type lol.

My sister is a Taurus and my brother is a Pisces. My Mom is a Pisces and my Dad is an Aries. The only air in the house = MOI. I can remember my Dad questioning a lot of my questions and calling me precocious. Makes sense now. LOLS.
That's HILARIOUS! I have no idea what my father is but my Mom is an aries.
Growing up, we literally BUTTED HEADS on EVERYTHING. You couldn't find a better mother and son combo yelling at each other sticking to their respective guns. God I was such a willful child growing up lol.
Aries FIRE vs Virgo EARTH. Not much gets accomplished hahah.

Hey π No trouble today!! Speaking of legs, when I ran track there was a guy with these really long legs. I started calling him legs...I thought it was so funny. I don't think he did, but I couldn't stop and then other people did as well. I hope he's ok now.
How are you VH? Any surfing lately? What have you been up to?
Hahaha! How tall are you out of curiosity?
I'm well, thank you! No beach time this week sadly. I started a course on Microbio - disease pathogens so I'm pretty much in grind mode for the next 5 weeks. Lecture and Lab Mon-Thurs. Friday = probably a shift at the station. So I might be able to drag my books to the beach on Saturday π
