I'm trying to write a card for my dad and I keep feeling sick because of all the feelings I have to talk about *head desk*.
Ahhh so icky.......if only I could just write a simple 'I love you' @_@ and avoid of all this mushy touching crap.

I must be aging in reverse! Though I have to admit I've been getting carded quite regularly, haven't had my hair this short for a looooong time π’
The best compliment I got in a while was when I was asked to show my ID few times in casinos π. Nobody else was asked except me yeeeey πclick to expand

@Jahls: Really have to thank my mum for these youthful genes! It's awkward but when she visited a few people mistook us for a couple, totally awkward lol.
@911: haha didn't mean to be unique. If it comes down to it yeah I do love her but I think it's more than that. I guess even I need more time to get to the I love you stage π Because when I say those words I'd belong to her.
I never said I love you first. Omg with one ex I did the imaginable,I said "oo thank you" :/click to expand

I am the same way... just a little taller... but girls have always commented on my shoulders for some reason... I wonder what makes them like it so much... It is not like they are going anywhere... I have met some girls that seem to be in to really thin guys as well...

lol i remember how he was for the rest of the day too...trying to get validation. he told his daughters " i love you" ...no response [tough crowd] ....then he told his son "i love you" ...again no response...at that time he was persistent and was like " I SAID I LOVE YOU" ...his son was like " geeze dad i love you too!"
it was funny, cute, and sad at the same time. but i laughed...no lie

I remember you telling that story before dimpz. Although for some reason I remember it as he came out with the words after sex, for some reason. Or I'm confusing it with someone else's story.
i think you may be confused, or i could have been telling a story about a different ex.
i mean yeah...we had sex looonggg before he said those words π , but he didnt say those words until 5 months in to the relationshipclick to expand

In my first proper relationship I was the first to say I love you and I think it was 2 weeks into us finally getting busy with one another. We'd known each other and a year and a half prior.
Anyway I said it drunk outside the club on campus while we were rolling in the hay (quite literally). And she said it back.
Months later she admitted she was now saying it really meaning it, whereas at the time she felt she said it just to be kind.
The irony is years later I don't really feel I meant it one single time that I said it, now that I've grown.

Mr D's got a point lol. I love wearing jeans and hell I would pay $ 200 for a pair that fits well, looks awesome and lasts! Even the shirts man don't get me started on those. Libra rising activate.
My sports jacket I bought yesterday cost me $ 400. But it retails for much less for smaller sizes. You can get the same quality sports jacket for something like $ 200 if you're a smaller man, or may even find them for $ 150.click to expand

Um, my mother is African American, Native American, and I think Irish. She's mainly African American. My biological father is Jamaican, I don't know much else about his heritage though :/. Guess I'll have to ask him next time he calls.click to expand

I love you is pretty easy for me to say. It's not a high stakes thing for me. The question is whether I actually like them and enjoy their company.

at first i was very uneasy about it. the first month we started dating i distanced myself and broke up with him a couple of times using the whole " you know im young and you are such and such age with three kids...i have a whole life to live, lets just be friends" but then as i got to know him more, and the kids more...i fell absolutely in love with him and the kids. i never in my life thought that i would ever be involved with a man who not only had kids but was once married. ever. but all that changed. it got to a point where i found myself seeking friends with people who had kids around their age so we can set up play dates, and looked for events around the area that was kid friendly that we could do outtings to. i started to see my future with them in it. when we broke up , it was uber hard. i caught myself saying " ooh yeah i have daughter who is that age"...and it was ...nooo...noo you dont. π . you get attached. when you break up with them, its hard to severe the ties. its one thing to end it the guy you are in love with, its another thing to end it with his family. soo hard. i still keep in touch with them though. not the father. i teach his daughter piano on tuesdays. we have such a great bond and im trying to guide her to do great things in life with what i can without crossing boundaries

When I moved to US I was shocked how often people use I love u here. U say bye to a coffee buddy and u tell her Love u, bye LOL. That's when I thought Americans should not have hard time saying I love u to a partner, since they say it even to their neighbor π.. Now I know why, but it was very weird to me in the beginning :/

Definitely West LMAO. Was on Skype with my friends from Vegas to talk over the trip. Pretty sure they were ALL blind drunk. Answering it a "ERIIIIIKKK SUUUP! love you maaaan!"
response "that's nice"

I say Jahlia with an arabic accent in my head. It's very close to Jala which is a name you come across often out there.
When I tracked down the meaning of my name, it only had Arabic and Hebrew meanings :p. How is it pronounced with an Arabic accent?click to expand
