I think I am coming to a realization that I want my next union to be spiritual.

So maybe meet like a priest, minister, bishop, rabbi or whatever they are called in different denominations. Or meet a nice church guy.

But it’s also more than just that. I am going back to men because old habits are hard to break. It should be about self-discovery and my own journey. Maybe a trip to Jerusalem is what I need?

That doesn’t make a spiritual

Connection lol dating a priest ect lol. It can be with anyone that make you feel expansive.

To me its a state of being. Its not a certain belief or way of living. The nature of your spirit determines that. Its being in tune with who you are on every level. I think religious ppl can be spiritual. Especially if that's what centers them. As well as atheist. We all have different beliefs. But we all must center ourselves.

Im not particularly religious but I do believe in a higher power. I just try and balance myself. One cant exist without the other. How would we know what light looks like if we never experienced darkness. How can we hate without loving first. Stability creates a foundation but also contempt Chaos creates freshness but also destruction Everything has its place. Everything has its time. I try to make myself a vessel for whatever energy passes thru me. To block it is to remain ignorant. To hold on to it is to become obsessed. I react accordingly and go with the flow.

Life is truly a wave. We go down and then up to go down again. We cant control that or life. We not meant to. Let go of the downs, hang on for the ups. Pain isnt meant to hurt is. Just make us more aware and stronger. For every planet that became one there is a comet that failed to do so. For every bright star, there is an ultimate end and rebirth. Nothing truly dies in the universe. Thats the idea of the phoenix bird which can be traced all the day back to ancient Egypt. Or Kemet. History repeats itself. And life goes on. Death and time are constructs of the mind. Energy can neither be destroyed or created. It just exist. We are everything we think we aren't and everything we think we are.

Its made me deeply philosophical. I dont question things. I dont mull over them or ignore them. I let what guides me guide me. Keep an open mind, open heart but shrewed eye and firm feet.

Looking within. We attach meanings to people's words, behaviors depending on our experiences, perceptions and deeply rooted belief system. Nothing is real and in fact each and every moment, every event that takes place around you - is waiting for you to give the meaning, you are going to see the world based on your subconscious beliefs. everything that is around can be molded the way you want it to. But in order for you to expect certain outcomes, you need to be holding matching belief system.

What is spirituality to you? Do you have any spiritual practices? How do you honor and nourish the spirit within you?

I feel like I am at a perfect age where I should become more spiritual. Many people close to my age became spiritually awakened, sometimes by divine intervention, but sometimes on their own accord.

Plus, I really need a break from men, love, sex and relationships. I am approaching eat, pray, love stage 🙏

It’s my birthday week and it’s perfect time to reflect on some things and go deep within.

P.S. Oh and if you make fun of me for this topic, I will just block you! 😵

I honor the gods and know where I am going when I die. I'm not sure if that makes me spiritual or not, but it does mean that I'm not overly troubled about mortality.
