Hmmm.... Yeah I think I do the same thing for the most part Esperaut... Test the water a little more everytime... Learn from past mistakes... And maybe someday accidently run into the "right" person... Hmph...
This is scary. I now know of 4 poeple that have been abused this is wrong. this makes about 11 people. i could count myself for abuse execept it would be more of a mental abuse. my mother one time told me bye and gave me the impression that she was going to kill herself, uh she has always left me during an agrument or when i have a promblem, let my grandmother get on a ladder, hates me fidgeting, dislikes me showing a little baby new items, and constantly tries to control my life. She's scary and insaine. My grandmother is also a little insaine for she says it's her illness. and i hate it. the only people that don't act like anythings wrong sometimes are my mom and my grandmother. My anut may go insaine for she works to much but i have faith that she won't. but no, i have proked a good porton of are arugmets. but u know i don't think that it's my fault of her crazy. i just know deal and try to be nice.
ur all parents a good protin suck. i don't know what to say is know u know what it was like and be glad. u will use this efficently and will never get that way. and u can put them out of ur lifes. make sure when u come back to vist if u do that they understand u have some rules of ur own for any vist of any kind.
that's all i can think of. but u all are great people. i know u all are strong. So be careful

James the 13th, i understand how's it like to be psycholgical abuse. That's a very bad experienced. I just finished reading all the posts here and i realize that we are not alone when facing problem that's hard to be shared even with our good friends. Sometimes some of the thing only for those who experienced it will understand best.
Do you ever noticed that, the way of parenting from the '70 or '80 decade parents are somewhat the over-protective type ( not all ) .They will never understand no matter how much you try to explain the situation, probably they have their own discipline/ theory of teaching. They never speak/listen to reasons and their point of views are limited to certain point only. Is it because of the way they'd grown up so make them think of an overprotective way is the best way to bring up a good child? My parents once told that actually we could be satisfy with the way they have given us cos in their time their parents never even bother much about them, life or death.... Or if living in a poor family kids have been given away.... Probably it sound true for their generation that the good parenting is up to there only, what we had received. So sometimes it's hard to blame them for that cos they will never understand.Probably our next generation will deserve the way we feel today. We experienced it and we understand, so we can only change for the next generation. No matter how much you try to fight them off there still no point at all, and the tension turns worst, worse than ever day by day . Just do it silently for what you wanna do that you think is right for you, there's no use to argue sometimes.
Over-protective make the children lose themselves for who they are. Not to ask for a perfect lives but a sense of self and being respect for own will... It's really hard to convince them for that. Sometimes parents can be prejudice as well and this bring the side effects among the siblings. The closure among siblings; the hatred grows in them among each others cause suffering and strugglings in their entire life. I hope any parents could know this is very important that don't make your children fall into this victim category.It's the hardest thing to bear in life - that's war among siblings.

i know what u mean. my mom is tries to overproct me from nothing. she's insaine. and i know this. my dad is the one who understands me and knows and helped me get away from having to live with her my dad divorced her. but no i understand.

About soul mates again... what do you think about love at first sight... I think I can believe in it, or at least, connection at first sight... Sometimes you can meet people for the very first time and just know that you'll be stuck with them forever.

Why! Why! Why! Why do these things happen? Who's really in control here? Did you ever notice how you can try and try, but somethings just always go in unexpected directions? So I pose a question to everyone:

When you find someone that speaks to you on a deeper level, I think.. of course, you'll have fears. No one wants to find a good thing..and just as quickly lose it. (for whatever reason.. faults or no) Some of the people I've lost were due to circumstances beyond either of our controls. (Skip those.) Every one I've felt very strongly about, I've spooled out a bit more line ( a bit more of me) to them... testing the waters. I assume they wished and did the same, reciprocally with me. Each time I'm better equipped to understand what I want, and who I want. (Whether I get them or not.. is immaterial.) When I do, I believe I'd always be thankful, and concerned for their happiness, their well being..etc. So, is that fear? If so, I can hack it..easily.
