New York is full of them (both dems and repubs) including the asshole Governor.

New York Rep. Michael Grimm threatens reporter after being asked about fundraising allegations

During an interview following President Obama's State of the Union address, the embattled Staten Island Republican grew angry after and made a violent threat against a NY1 reporter.
WASHINGTON — Embattled New York Republican Rep. Michael Grimm threatened to "break" a NY1 reporter in half and throw him off a balcony after President Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night.

The confrontation occurred on Capitol Hill when reporter Michael Scotto followed up questions about the President's speech by pressing the congressman on a federal investigation into his fund-raising.

—Congressman Michael Grimm does not want to talk about some of the allegations concerning his campaign finances ... but as you saw he refused to talk about that,?? Scotto said as Grimm began to walk away.
Hearing Scotto??s comment, Grimm turned and walked toward the NY1 reporter.

"Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again I'll throw you off this f-----g balcony,?? Grimm said, according to the cable news channel.

—Why, why, I just wanted to ask you— Scotto responded.

—If you ever do that to me again,?? the Staten Island congressman shot back.

When Scotto replied, —why, why it's a valid question,?? Grimm said: —No, no, you're not man enough, you're not man enough. I'll break you in half. Like a boy,?? according to the NY1 transcript.

This is the investigation the reporter was asking him about:
FBI probe into Rep. Michael Grimm's campaign finances tied to Israeli investigation into rabbi
Israeli investigators are looking into charges that Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto bribed an anticorruption official, but have refused to share information that the FBI is seeking for the probe into the Staten Island Congressman.

Some background on this Aquarian

He's suppose to be an anti-corrupt official...

Former Marine, FBI..special agent. He also worked under cover during the Gotti days. He got jilted from that position when he was dating a woman whose husband busted them... in which he denies. (he's good at the denial game) But a NYPD officer happened to be a bouncer at the club he was busted at and supports this incident.

"
In 2011, The New Yorker magazine reported that Grimm had been the subject of an internal investigation into allegations he abused his authority as a FBI agent in a nightclub in 1999. According to the article,[3] written by Evan Ratliff, the incident resulted from a dispute between Grimm and his date's husband. A former NYPD officer working as a bouncer at the time said that Grimm remarked about the husband, "I??ll fucking make him disappear where nobody will find him." Grimm reportedly then returned to the nightclub twice, pulled out his gun once, and brought FBI and NYPD officers the second time."

I don't vote in NYC...but really, after two allegations such as the above he STILL got voted into congress. The sheep followed the media apparently to secure this vote. 😢

Another Congressman who makes decisions on our behalf (FL):

WASHINGTON — Embattled Rep. Trey Radel of Florida resigned Monday, a little more than two months after pleading guilty to misdemeanor cocaine possession.

Radel, 37, a Republican from Fort Myers, submitted a resignation letter to House Speaker John Boehner that took effect at 6:30 p.m.

"Unfortunately, some of my struggles had serious consequences," Radel said in his letter to Boehner. "While I have dealt with those issues on a personal level, it is my belief that professionally I cannot fully and effectively serve as a United States representative to the place I love and call home, Southwest Florida.

Radel, who was facing an ethics investigation, sent shorter resignation letters to Republican Gov. Rick Scott and Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner. They will have to coordinate a special primary and general election to choose the next person to represent Florida's 19th District. A date has not been set.

Report: Most members of Congress are millionaires

WASHINGTON — In a week dominated by politicians' talk about income inequality, a new tally shows that most members of Congress are millionaires.

Of 534 current lawmakers on Capitol Hill, at least 268 had an median net worth of $ 1 million or more in 2012, the analysis by the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics found. That's up from 257 members — or about 48% of lawmakers — in 2011 and marks the first time that a majority of politicians on Capitol Hill were in the millionaire's club.

The richest lawmaker: Rep, Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who oversees the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and made a fortune in his car- alarms business. The center calculates his average net worth at $ 464 million.

Senators generally are better off than House members, with an average net worth of $ 2.7 million in the Senate compared with $ 896,000 in the House.

It's impossible to know exactly how much money lawmakers have. They are required to report their assets in broad ranges only.

Real estate is the most popular investment vehicle, valued at between $ 442.2 million and $ 1.4 billion. For lawmakers dabbling in the stock market, General Electric was the most popular stock pick. Seventy-one lawmakers owned shares in the company last year.

The analysis was released as officials in both parties are putting a spotlight on income disparities.

lol...bet this reporter ends up missing...what a joke

After first defending his actions, Rep. Michael Grimm, R-New York, apologized today for physically threatening a NY1 News reporter at the U.S. Capitol.

"@repmichaelgrimm called to apologize. He said he 'overreacted.' I accepted his apology," the reporter, Michael Scotto, tweeted.

Grimm stormed off Tuesday night when Scotto tried to ask him questions about campaign finance allegations against the lawmaker. After Scutto said on camera Grimm had refused to talk to him, Grimm surged toward the reporter and said: "Let me be clear to you: If you ever do that to me again, I'll throw you off this f***ing balcony."
