Curious, are designer purses, expensive clothing, overly expensive cars really worth it? I'm not talking about value or quality, of course better quality is more expensive. But does anyone really NEED a $ 500 purse? Why would anyone spend that much money for something like that?

Such items are often out of fashion, because most of us "normal people" buy them only when "out of season" aka discounted or second hand.

I could think of some buying designer stuff to "show off".

Stylish? Maybe because they are insecure about their own taste, and need to hide behind a label...?

And of course, they are those who have allowances ten time higher than mine...for them, a $ 500 bag should be as "cheap" as a $ 50 bag is to me. In fact, I wouldn't buy a $ 50 bag, because I don't like buying rubbish. But there are plenty of high street/catalogue good quality items, to choose from.

Fashion is art. Everyone can look good in their own unique style . You bring life in what you wear, if it expresses one's self.

Maybe i'm just a rebel.. I didn't mind wearing a uniform back in the day though.

+1

Hope you are a woman, xy 🙂. For men, standing out of the crowd (aka unique style ) is most often because their clothes are mismatched, poorly fitting or shrill.
