I just learned that there are people who laugh at cpa lawyers coz they think "who'd want to go through two difficult courses?"

I really don't know why I'm a cpa lawyer in the first place; I just followed my mum's wishes for me. And it's also weird that I went to the top law school in the country and was cum laude in college. I think some people might think I was greedy for degrees whatsoever when in fact I just want my mum to be happy.

It's difficult to be the smart kid in the family especially if you're Asian. Your parents will tell you to do this, do that. My siblings who were both average were allowed to pursue their preferred careers.

Fortunately, I like my job right now. But if I had the choice, I would've become an economist with PhD.
