Build-a-City

I'm in a contemplative mood today. So. Question time.

If you had control over constructing a city...

How would you go about it?

What would it look like?

Would you remain the sole person in power, or would you appoint people to help out?

If you give up sole-leadership, who do you look for to help? Why, how?

What sort of laws would be enacted?

I'm just curious...not really looking for specific ideas or beliefs, just want to have a respectful discussion of how one would build up a city...why, how, where, etc.

1 house/administrative center/agricultural and business ‘hub’ with moats, spikes, and land mines surrounding it. It’ll be chill I promise

Last I checked I'm not sure seals can build cities...but I mean, prove me wrong 😋

all i learned from simcity is making sure that the sewage system is far from residential buildings but srsly it's gonna be

agriculture-based and medicine-focused on the surface but brotherhood of steel level tech underground

I would build minimalist city with round shaped lunar looking construction. City would be totally green with trees flowers & grass everywhere. It would be like a city inside of a jungle with multiple pockets of clear spaces throughout the landscape. Drugs would be highly regulated & penalties for violating would be severe. Every family could have no more than two children at a time. Every family must own a dog and be taught to train them. Alchohol would be legal, but if you are ever caught doing bad things you will be restricted & disciplined. All plastic containers will be outlawed. If caught littering 1st time you will be fined, if caught littering again u will kicked out of of city. Most everything will be ran off of electricity, hydro, & wind. Work week would be 4 days on, and three off. One day off must be used to contribute to betterment of city. Every child will receive same education, paid for by tax dollars. Any higher learning will cost fee out of income of parents every month. There will be cameras every where. Any visitors from outside must be thoroughly verified before entering & carry a tracking passport at all times. Everyone will be fingerprinted and facially scanned. Guns will be legal to carry at all times, but if caught under influence with weapon in public ur liscense will be revoked. Every citizen will be combat trained.
