Every relative I had that lived far away from the city life knew months in advance their time was up. Left all affairs in order, called everyone to say goodbye.
I put it down for an uncanny connection with nature. They know the end of the season is near.

God, my mother and grandmother were all about that movie.
Same as dancing with wolves, I hardly can imagine more boring flicks. Just so overrated.

I'm unsure if people sense it coming or if they're ready to go so they give into it and therefore, they go. I've definitely noticed that old people tend to know.
This!! I always thought so too.

I remember trying to watch it and if there was a deeper meaning to it...it was utterly lost on me. Nature to me was never as boring as portrayed there.
i think we can self manifest the things we believe in.. so if he believes that then it will come to fruitation.
I believe dogs can sense it though.

My father is a Cancer. He has onset dementia. Several times he has mentioned to me that he won't be around for long, has thought about ending his life, dreads waking up every day, but he continues to get up everyday, follow his routines, and be productive. Yesterday, he told his grandson (my son) that he wants to teach him everything he knows because he's going to die soon.
My father has never spoken like this in the past. He has always been a strong man, hard headed, and driven to do what needed to be done. He has a wife and she doesn't seem to be concerned about him.
Do you think people can sense that the end is near?
I'm thinking about contacting his doctor about his statements. He takes a lot of medication for all of his ailments. Maybe one of his meds are making him depressed. Maybe it's the dementia.
