ChatGPT & my birthchart
Ask for without light dilation.
There are different ways to do calculations.
They got most of mine wrong lol
When it comes to chart reading itself, AI isn't extremely good at it. When it comes to talking about actual placements, that's when it really shines imo. Like even giving it my big 3, Leo sun, Scorpio moon, Cancer rising, it broke them all down and made an overall summary of the energies combined, including pros and cons. I think it hasn't been taught enough about astrology from people. Even at the bottom it disclaimers that chatgpt isn't always correct. The way it works is the AI learns over time, so the more people chat to it about astrology the better it will be at it.

It just said that is without light dilation. It says it wouldn’t cross into Aquarius for my moon until 9:50 am and I was born at 7:59 am um are they saying Astro.com is wrong? Lmao

I kind of look at the chart thing similar to human hands. I've been into the AI trend the last 5 years, so everyone might not know this but AI was terrible with trying to replicate human hands. It simply didn't have the fundamental of understanding what they were, or how they functioned. It's got extremely well at making them now for the most part. To the point I can't even tell if an image is AI by looking at the hands. It's somewhat the same for birth charts. The AI can look up information in split seconds, but doesn't full understand how to put that information into a birth chart calculator, or even what a circle chart means. It simply does it's best to guess, which is why the information is always wrong when regarding physical chart readings, or even giving it your birth information. I bet in the next year or so it will be smart enough to understand it needs to use a birth calculator to accurately read a birth chart.
For me it got way closer then I thought it would. It only got the Mercury, Venus, and Mars off by one sign. Which is absolutely crazy to think by asking AI a general question about calculating my birth chart it even got this close.

And it gave the right placements.

No astro is not wrong. I've done a lot of synastry and transit studying in real time.
Yes it read my chart wrong and when I pointed it out it apologized and said I was correct. 😂

lol! But yet it argues with me. It said moon was at Capricorn was at 7 degrees but my chart says Aquarius at 7 degrees! Hmmmm 🤣
I know there's a lot of enthusiasm about AI on this board, but keep in mind the current conversational models just do pattern analysis, ie they're very superficial and don't do any deep thinking about what they say. Also, current AI models can make some very blatant mistakes and aren't being checked by reality

It was wrong lol. First when I gave my birth info & second when I uploaded my chart.
I corrected it that I have an Aquarius moon & it argued that it is a Capricorn moon. It says it’s very clearly a Capricorn moon even when it was using the chart I uploaded 🤣🤣
It also thinks I have a Sag Mercury & Leo Mars. Which wrong Cap Mercury & Cap mars. But the funniest thing is the arguing with me…
Anyone have a similar experience?
