Competition among women is tougher than among men.
In career and financialy, men are probably more competitive. In every other aspect, it's likely women. Cooking, clothes, appearances, relationships, friendships, children raising, longest labour, who breast fed the longest, who threw the best 1st birthday, who had the nicest wedding, who got the biggest ring, who has the best house in the best area... etc.
