My friend from FL is looking for a match on some sites and she said she is sick and tired of people posting their pics and she is wasting time until they meet and these men don’t look anything like their pics.

She says they don’t fake pictures but they pic some best of the bunch in a good light and all but when she meets them - it’s THE man but seems like she gets all groomed and they just come in flannel shirts or top tanks and sandals looking like shit!

I told her to buy scrubs as her dress for dates attire but she refuses. She is a very girly girl. She is always in heels and made up and she says she sits next to these bozos feeling like a Beaury and the Beast!

I am sorry but lmao! They KNOW to put quality picture in profile but why do they show up like that? Her profile pic is immaculate! Make up, clothes...what are these guys thinking? And no. She isn’t in astrology so she never asks what their sign though I always tell her to ask...she can’t be meeting same slob signs for years! lol

Before meeting these guys in person she needs to ask them to facetime. If they refuse than chances are they are catfish.

I used to do the online dating thing and 3 outta 4 people I met irl were cat fish. Ok to be fair one dude was the same person in the photos just 10 years older and 100pds heavier.

At your age and I assume her age, no time to waste on catfish.

My biggest issue is deciding whether I'm over-dressed for the occassion. Try-hard is not a good look either.

yes! when i tried online dating i found that was the case EVERY time. I mean yes we all pick our best pictures but let them not be 4 years old pictures...c'mon lol never online dating again its a huge waste of time

Anyone ever been in the situation where the person in real life looked better than the photos that they uploaded?

I would imagine in cases like that the photos were so bad that no one wanted to see the real person.
