TOC - i'm not a mean person. i felt embarrassed for her. i honestly didn't know what to do. it didn't help that after she asked, "did they fit?" when i said, "no," she said, "let me see."

yes, i could've said that but it was all too much. i'm only confrontational over shit that i don't think people should take personally and/or is not a reflection of some basic trait. like, if you stank, i most likely wouldn't tell you. if you had a boogie in your nose, i would probably stare at it half the night. ok, i might tell you about the boogie but i dunno...it's hard for me to be honest when i feel like people should already know.

that's sorta why i started this topic. how do smelly people NOT know they're smelly? it's like i'm telling them something they already know. they have to know. she knew she had bloody pants 😛 i mean, she washed the crotch out after all.

i didn't wear the pants that night but i couldn't figure out a way to emerge from the bathroom without saying, "BITCH YOU KNOW THERE'S BLOODSTAINS IN THESE MUTHAFUQN PANTS!!!!"

hair is different. depends on race, length, style , condition, chemical procedure, climate. if my hair is color treated, i shampoo less. if i'm up north, i shampoo less. it all depends.

regardless, it's not a fair comparison. my hair doesn't poof, poop or piss.

actually, not many people need their hair washed everyday. 2-3 days is average for white folk. some go longer. just depends on the style and how oily your hair gets.

ask a white woman with tracks, a recent perm or color how long she goes in between shampoos 😛

black folks hair is different but that's best left for another thread.

I usually take showers. A bath I do on purpose to relax and to my girly bit. Shave, watch candle flame, maybe have a glass of wine if there's any about.

if i take a bath, i have to shower afterward. something about sitting in your own filth just isn't a relaxing proposition.

look, it's common sense. you're in a tub full of HOT water. debris/dirt comes off your body and where does it go? the water that you're sitting in. and what do you do? you continue to sit in this increasingly dirty water. your final rinse is with what? dirty water.

when you wash your clothes, there's a rinse cycle for a reason.

when you wash dishes, you rinse them with clean water for a reason.

when you take a bath, you get out of the tub and towel off. you're still dirty...DUH!

TOC - you've also just confirmed that you wash your ass on your face with the same cloth. you're "feral" with perfume.

Hm, is bathe the same as taking a shower? In that case I bathe twice a day, in the morning and before going to bed. Sometimes even three times a day if I've done something exhausting that requires me to take a shower in the middle of the day. I use deodorant in the morning only.

About the french, I hear they only shower once a week. I hope it's just a myth, I couldn't imagine why anyone would shower so seldom in a civilised world.

i dunno about once a week. i pray not anyway. the no deodorant thing might be the real culprit to international odors. that and short showers. i was watching house hunters international once and i think it was in japan where they have hot water tanks in the bathroom attached to the wall/near the shower unit. given the bathrooms are generally small, it's common for tanks to be small capacity. so you might only have 3-5 minutes of hot water.

now that's not to say that folks don't shower over there but 3-5 minutes to lather, rinse and repeat is...yeah.

enfant is on it shower twice a day bath you sit in your own dirt shower it off. as for the rest of you do like the dogs roll in shit or something dead.

another thought what is the personal hygene of some of the other dpxers. HGUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM sometimes I do three showers but that leads to dry skin. when I am on the road the lorry is a sleeper and you have use the showers at the fule stops they do clean them after each person uses them.

That's completely different. You work, quite hard, you'd want to clean up often. Lotion is good for dry skin.
