Why are you on the rampage VV ?
It was just some light humour 🙂
Fwiw, Lobo started it (lol that you try to drag me into this 🙂) ! and it's kinda funny, you can't say things like 'in a thread like this' on DXP, come on now :/...and and and, the belt doesn't hurt all that much anyways so nya.

Just because he started it doesn't mean you have to follow along. You can create your own thread to post gifs and shit. Why do it in everybody else's? Yeah, and why don't you ever create your own threads?

Never mind, I don't want to have this conversation with you.

Well I will chime in when I was younger my mom did hair so I had the press and comb the jheri curl and all of the above, now that I am older I get bored easily so I change my hair style about once every two to three weeks. It's funny cause at work or with the men I am dating they will be like damn you change your hair again Lol, that's me I like to keep people guessing even my customers at work will sometimes think I am a different person because my hair is different they will be like "are you new here" I will just laugh and say no my hair is just different.

Jump rope I love it growing up, it's sad that little girls now and days don't play it as much it was fun and kept you in shape but now they have computers and boys (what a shame).

Last topic is health and I am very in tune with my boday and I go to the doctor every year for a physical/lady checkup. Other than that I am normally healthy and I don't like taking any meds unless I am very sick which thank god rarely happens.

@LoveBucket,

I wouldn't want a Virgo mother hot-combing my hair. Ha! I could imagine your moms wanting to get every nook and cranny! Scaaaary!

I've been dying to try a weave but as I told DMV, I'm afraid that I might get hooked.

My sister used to have a jheri curl and every night my mother would wake her up and give her a "whop!" on her arm because the activator would keep soaking the pillow case...now ain't that some shit? LOL! Although my sister begged her to get the JC, she was happy to oblige (and had the nerve to do it herself with the home kit...my mom that is) and then turned around and would give her a slap on the arm every night for something that was totally out of her control. I guess in her mind she was probably thinking, "well, can't take it out on the activator". LOL.

You go without wearing a bra? I could never do that! Well size does matter so like you said, having dense full ones can afford you that luxury. I'm quite top heavy so there is no going bra-less for me. No siiiiree!

According to some of the comments I skinned over, the Asian grandmother should have been shot for even thinking about doing that to her grandchild. If anything, reprimanded, at most, because she'd do it behind her daughter's back.

Wow, that's so fucked up. There should be repercussions for something like that. Who the hell gives anyone the right to bleach a child's skin, especially without the consent of the parent. Yea, someone like that should be shot.

Scorp

I have a friend like you who changes her hair style all the time. It's really intriguing because every style is always so nice and you never know when she's gonna do it (she doesn't even tell her husband), it's just the next time you see her, it's done.

Speaking of physicals, I just went for my annual physical with my PCP today, and last month had my pelvic/OBGYN exam done (lord have mercy there's got to be a better way to do that), so I'm good.

Tammy's hair never looks good. She needs a stylist.

Those women are hurting. ALL OF 'EM. Tammy's got a chip on her shoulder, and I liked her at first because I do think she's the realest of the bunch, but, I was much too turned off by her "popn" Meeka like that in Italy. Wow.

When I learned she was an Aries it made alot of sense...the temper that is.

What part of NY am I from? Awww..sorry, Ms.P but I don't disclose that.

lol I don't blame you. I saw a girl on here who grew up in my hood. Small world.

I never really liked Tami. Real or not, the bitch is too loud for my tastes. That's a quality I've never liked about some Aries girls. Too hype for no reason all the time. And yes, that Italy incident just solidified it. Then she had the nerve to say she would call the cops on Meeka if she did something else. SEriously tho, Tami? lol

Ahh...entertaining, nonetheless. I haven't caught the new season yet.

Now, they say "good Black don't crack" so are any of you ladies for/against plastic surgery (speaking more in terms of the face)?

I'm not against it per se as in do what makes you happy, but unless (and god forbid) I was in some type of accident that required it, then otherwise, for myself, no. I'm simply a big advocate for the au natural.

What about the rest of your body? Would you get a butt implant (lol) or a boob lift?

I understand, and not that I would be totally against telling someone on here that I have establish some level of trust with, but...ya know how it is.

Giiirl, they are all a hot ass mess, ya hear.

And Shaunie is no better. She's pimp'n those girls like it ain't no tomorrow. They don't care though. Nothing but attention whores the lot of 'em.

Don't even get me started on Evelyn...I'll be here all night. LOL.

Tami is a hot-head. I had a Ram sistuh-gurl friend and believe me I know what you are talking about because she was ALWAYS about the drama, but still very sweet and child-like so I couldn't really hold it against her. I think Virgo/Aries is a baaaad mix so I know a Pisces would probably feel similar. We tend to be the quiet, go-about-our-business type of folk.

LOL, Meeka did come into the group talking out of both sides of her face, and immediately I knew that was gonna cost her. Hopefully she's learned a lesson. If I were her, I wouldn't want to be apart of their group anyway. Tami is never gonna stop bullying her, she's too classy for them tricks, and can claim the title of BBW which the rest of them can't. Ha!

that's a gorgeous painting 🙂

Isn't it now? There's also another with a little Black girl getting her hair hot-combed and I can't find it! I've been searching the web and no dice.

It's so beautiful, and it's such a wonderful representation of the little black girl mid to late 80s (?)

If I can't find it on the web, I just might have to take a trip to Harlem. 🙂

omg, i still own a hot comb!

i could never double dutch.

I was the pro at double dutch.........

And I still have a hot comb!! 🙂 I don't use it but, it's in the drawer. 🙂

I'm thinking about trying a weave -- a full one. I haven't gone there yet because when it comes to my hair and nails I am very particular -- they have to be filed quite square -- I hate rounded edges, and the hair has to look as real as it can because I don't like the wig/fake hair look -- it's way too common when common is not my thing. It's my hope that the person who does it knows how to make it not look like a weave on top where all the hair meets when you get a full weave. I just can't take the fake look -- whoever does Toni Braxton's hair when she wears wigs and weaves gives her the total hook-up. And, whoever does Jennifer's hair on basketball wives hooks her up too.

jennifers hair looks amazing. she can probably afford to be in the salon every 2 weeks. if not every week.

I don't have much of a problem with Ev, tbh. No matter what, she kept it all the way real. Whether ppl liked her or not for it. She didn't have to tell Tami that info, but she did. Most women would have been a snake about it the whole time. My only issue is why her mother still lives in Castle Hill projects?! LOL Oh and I lost respect for her when she so clearly displayed how afraid of Tami she is. Tami has all them hoes shook! Why? I dunno.

True about the innocence of the Aries girls that makes them tolerable. Yes, I'm rather reserved in public, so it is draining to say the least. One thing about Tami that I do like is that when she's not acting a fool, she can be surprisingly reasonable (when she's not personally involved) and insightful. Still, she gets on my nerve 😛

I don't have anything against anyone getting plastic surgery. If thats what they desire then hey. But myself? NO!! I honestly wouldn't ever consider it. Not boasting but most people would kill for my abs & it's all natural. My body is proportioned for my size & I honestly wouldn't change anything. I am quite content. I happen to love my body & my face. (except for occasional breakouts 😛) But other than that I appreciate what I have naturally. Breast & butt implants? Oh HELL NO!!!! 🙂

Agreed. Evelyn is very real. Very blunt, very honest, a shoot straighter. That's one thing I like about them Sags.

I was a bit on the fence about the whole "I slept with your husband" bit. I felt like it was maybe a little too early to disclose because like Evelyn said, she didn't know if her and Tami would actually become friends, but on the other hand, I do understand Tami wanting to know and being hurt by it all.

In any event, I thought it was shady as hell the way Shaunie nostrils O'neal instigated the situation. And at Jennifer's b-day bash? How tacky.

I know that Evelyn has her own business which is the shoe store Dulce(?) but just how much money she's bringing in could possibly be the reason why she hasn't purchased a home for her family? I heard her business isn't doing so well.
Or maybe she offered and her family refused? *Shrugs*

Yea, Tami got all of them shook. LOL. She's big, brawny, and bold. They don't want it with her.

Hmmm...would love to know your thoughts on Jabba Jaws Eric. 😛

I feel you, RT. I'm pretty happy with what the good lord has given me, and I really don't have any complaints, so, I'm good. Ha!

I'm working on building a bit more muscle (just got a membership to Lucille Roberts) but not too much.

Co-sign on the breast and butt implants comment. Not for me!

And for those of you in NY or for those who may plan to visit NY anytime in the future, there is a brand spanking new salon in Harlem on Frederick Douglas blvd. called

"Bibi Salon" (bibisalonnyc.com) owned and operated by Maisha Teacher and her team of celebrity freelance stylists.

It's upscale, (not bougie) clean, and comfortable, and they serve you mimosas. 🙂

Maisha and her team are trained in treating, maintaining, and styling all hair types, and they promote healthy hair by using Phyto products (plant based products).

They even have a lash bar, and for a specail event or just a fab night out on the town, you can book one of their professional make-up experts to do your face for you.

I always love investing in good Black businesses.

Yea, I guess I can see that. I know some ppl who never want to leave the jects, but then again, they're not accountants either lol Oh well.

lol @ your Nicks for all of them. I actually liked Eric at first. Ya know, I got over the knot and all and actually thought he was alright...but I wish he would have thrown a drink at me like that lol I can't even be mad at him tho, because Jen is too much of a ditz for me anyway.
