Sorry I donāt think itās too dangerous to use the two terms interchangeably when the work I was doing wasnāt too profound. If it was work at a food bank or soup kitchen I could see why it matters. But considering all I did was data entry Iām struggling to see how telling someone I āvolunteer in a billing departmentā is misleading compared to āI job shadowed in a billing departmentā š¤·āāļø Itās the same work.

I donāt know how that chain of events is so hard for you to follow. It was cut and dry when the volunteer coordinator told me one of their coding volunteers was set to finish their position three months after I had signed up.
