Since Dxpnet censored my last post, thought I would try something safer.

I have a friend in LA who is my age. He has been having hookups with this older married woman that is in a open relationship with her husband.

That ironically is not the issue. They have hooked up a few times now and he just found out she is a Trump supporter She had a campaign sticker on her wallet.

They have not discussed politics obviously since it is just physical between them. Him and I are both from the progressive Elizabeth Warren school.

He is feeling super guilty now for hooking up with a Trumper He is struggling with wanting to end it and keep it going. Due to the fact she is about to be 50 and looks 12 yrs younger then she is -(She used to be a model back in the 90's ) And he told me they have great chemistry in bed .

There were no romantic feelings on his end prior to him finding out nor on her side He wanted to know from me if he is a piece of garbage if he kept having hookups with her even though she is a Trumper

I told him I would have to think about it. To me, if he is not getting in a relationship with her and it is only physical, I dont see the harm.

But should progressives stick to their principle 100% even if it is just hooking up with no relationship in sight?

She supports Trump for some reasons whole you both take a progressive stance for your own. Unless one side is ashamed or judgmental about the other, why would it be a issue?

Oh great, now Democratic men don't want to phuck Republican women. This country is really divided.

I'm thinking this would only ever become an issue for anyone of sound mind if it was more than just physical. Dude is subconsciously, if not fully consciously and afraid of admitting it, looking for the next step on the relationship staircase. The dichotomy of their political stances either poses a threat to the long-term love idea, or it's being used as a means to sabotage their relationship in order to avoid aforementioned next step.

I refuse to believe that anyone normal would ever drop a hot hook up over politics. They're not spending that much time talking.
