I am slowly becoming an Italia Serie A mark already
I would post the season by season video reviews of the Serie A golden years but they are all in Italian voiceovers.
Ill probably watch old games on footballia if i ever have time. Tho they only go back to the 80s i think for serie a
The 80s onwards is all you need.
The 60s had a wonderstory of Bologna winning the title in a race against time with their President of 30 years (and one of the biggest benefactors in the history of the city of Bologna) on his deathbed. Bittersweet ending.
But other than that it was the Milan sides dominating.
70s Juve dominates.
the 80s is when Napoli pull of signing Maradona and everything changes. Then from the late 80s onwards through the 90s it's the age of the "Seven Sisters" (Juve, Milan, Inter, Roma, Parma, Fiorentina, Lazio) all with ridiculously strong team, star names, world class players. It was the place to be for world football.
Seems like they have a decent chunk of games from 89-95 96 & 97 is scarce tho then 98-onward is a ton
84-85ish changed a lot. That was the year Verona won the title, probably even more unlikely a win than Leicester City's PL win.
After that year they changed the rules so that refs for matches were always predetermined and no longer random draw, which has massive ramifications years later.
Why did they change that rule? For easier fixing? lol
Pretty much lol sour grapes from the big clubs. "only big game referees should handle the big matches" etc.
They didn't want some guy who had 1 year on the job doing big games.

I never understood how that could be good for a league. The same teams dominating. Its a huge problem with the AFC in the NFL. One of many of the NFL's problems
I get big market teams can draw ratings, but then when that starts failing too youre left with teams the people have long been trained to not give a fuck about

It is boring and very predictable, but you know us Euros, we've never had a problem with aristocracy LOL
I think the problem is finding a standard that all 90-100 pro teams in the land can agree on. If it were a closed league system of only 20 or so clubs then maybe they would have levelled out the playing field by now.
But the way things are going they may as well just do a closed 15-20 team Champions League anyway. The gap between the biggest 8 clubs in the world and everyone else is ridiculous as it is.

Taurus mars has played 20 games and is under .420 so you are both eligible for a trade to a new team for a fresh start
However the trade deadline is in 26 hours so you'll have to pick a new team before then

It's annoying.When you can score beautiful team goals like that, then in the second half all the individual flaws just creep back in.
