Yesterday I made a thread about different hair style s ... If you have natural hair then you know its a labor of love 🙂 lots of moisturizing, flat twisting, braiding and patience and when you finally undo your twist out and see your lovely kinks and curls falling perfectly its worth it

and then ..some weirdo at work, at a restaurant or schools and starts petting you like a farm animal! its so freaking rude ...and annoying ...Im not an animal ...don't just stroke my hair ...

I had some lady at work do this to me once ..while sitting at my desk...she made a big deal about how it was so big ..and how it really stands up all on it own ...all while she light touch the top of it like she was touching something nasty

so I stood up and started stroking her hair ... 😆 she looked so freakin startled ...and then I said "its so limp" wow ...I mean it really just hangs there doesn't ...interesting

Im all about education ...but everyone should keep their hands to themselves as a general rule ...if you wanna know something just ask ?!?!? vent over

I love her music.

I can either wear my hair in a huge afro or straight if I choose to without perming my hair.

Call it the infamous "Dominican Blow-out" if I want it straight.

...And If I want to wear the huge afro...I wash my hair, use a deep leave in conditioner, moisturize the ends with Mizani oil, twist it, then curl it up in knots. Leave it overnight. Some people prefer to just untwist it and leave the waves, I just comb it out , until it looks like a complete afro.

Ah man before I locked, when I used to wear the fro. For some reason people saw my hair as an invitation. I've been in the grocery in line and felt a hand a hand in the back of my head. What tge hell. Response "oh its so nice". Sigh thank goodness I'm not a violent person.

My ma and both of my sisters have their hair locked...and even now from time to time when they have it style d some folks will risk death by trying to touch em. Not my mother so much but my sisters...especially the one that works in the interior design field........white gay men just "looooove" their hair. That Hair Nah game was built for em.

I keep my hair wrapped up by wearing durags, silk skullies, sockets and hats.

I keep it twisted or corn rowed.. But when I do let it down, people know better than to stroke through my shit cuz I rarely have it out anyway.

All kinds of people do that, just gotta carry an air of "boundaries".

I wish I knew how to post my pic (because I still don’t) but I’d post my big bushy natural blonde curly hair... that everyone thinks it’s ok to touch! It irritates the mess out of me! I've actually had friends do this when my hair is curled with a curling iron. I usually wear my hair in a ponytail.

It took me a fuccing hour and a half to straighten, then curl it and you want to try and stick your stinky fingers in my hair to pull on them!
