I have Virginia Tech winning in my bracket, but it really is a coin toss. Most #8/#9 seed games are.

Virginia Tech is only a 2.5 point favorite. That's not much in a tournament game.

But I don't get these point system... When you say 2.5 point favorite, what does it mean? Is it based on the total points they scored more than Alabama? Or overall? I don't get it at all...

I want to pick Alabama but I notice you have a winning streak... So I won't take a risk!

The 2.5 means that is what Virginia Tech is "supposed" to win by, according to Vegas. It's simply used for betting.

I honestly don't pay attention to spreads during the March Madness tournament.

Oklahoma was a 2 point favorite over Rhode Island and RI won by 5.

Gonzaga was a 12.5 point favorite over UNC Greensboro and only won by 4.

This tournament is more about gut feeling than anything.

Thats surprising. When I started I didnt even want to pick Virginia to go far, but it kinda worked out that way when I had a lot of upsets in the bottom of the south bracket

At work theres only 8 of us tho

I did a pool online that a friend of a friend does. idk why I did. Just throwing 15 dollars away lol cuz theres like 50some people
