I understand that some people feel the need to look up to others when they feel ignored by the mainstream (whatever category they fall into), however most of these "role models" didn't ask for the pedestal they've been perched on. They were just living their lives, accomplishing their goals and doing it at high level without apology. Misty Copeland comes to mind as I type this. Adele shines because she is an amazing singer, that is naturally gifted and works for her goals/dream . She doesn't shine because she is a bigger singer.

So I guess these women that are upset about her doing what the hell she wants with her body, will have to find another role model to focus on and continue to stay at the level they are on. Meanwhile the role models will continue to live their lives and shine.

I don't know, maybe they should be their own role model?

P.S. Adele is stunning at any size.

The debate is on!

I think she looks amazing and any step towards a healthier life style should be celebrated.

However, some of the bigger gals are upset because, they keep losing their role models to keto.

Some even say that Skinny Adele posting her skinny ass pictures contributes to fat shaming and sets a bad example for body positivity.

Thoughts?!

Besides the hype people talking shit for ratings and exposer, their dissatisfaction with her new look is them projecting their feelings of themselves. When someone you look up to can do it, what exactly is stopping you?

When you know it's possible, what is your excuse?

If this isn't it then why would this effect another person?

Basically some kind of resentment.
