Are we still talking about this guy? Sure, I don't like him...this isn't the first time he's said comments that were anti-gay. Take a look at his video from a few years ago, he even calls gays "heartless" and "ruthless". But, I think as long as he can keep his views out of the show and interviews then it doesn't matter. Actually, the video I'm watching says that they've brought up controversial things before on camera but they've cut it out of the show...so since people like the show enough they can continue airing it, cut out all the bad things, and everyone can watch in ignorance. If it happens again, then dump him for good. There will always be fans...just look at Justin Bieber and all the horrible things he's done...still tons of fans. You can't stop it and the media and tv shows want those views. Freedom of speech matters little when companies and figure heads can work around it.

I haven't read all the pages, though I've skimmed, but I can guess that by now whatever logic and reasoning is being used is becoming cyclical. There's no point in arguing over something tooth and nail just because you don't like the person expressing the views. They obviously will think what they want and both sides are just punching a brick wall right now.

When it comes to that genre (one of my favs), if I'm not listening to Hans Zimmer, John Williams or one of the classics (probably Russian), then it'll often be Two Steps from Hell. Been enjoying them a lot lately.

Nice. I went on a kick a while back where I got into dubstep remixes of classical orchestrations. There's one for Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" that you might like.

What Phil said about Gays and African American was Ignorant not hateful but he has a right to his opinion.

He has a right to free speech even if it borders between ignorance and stupidity.

We do not need restrictions around speech. We have to evolve naturally into policing ourselves.

Meanwhile nobody on the other side ever makes ignorant, stupid, and hateful blanket statements? Seriously?

He can say whatever he want to say and others are allowed to respond if they choose to. Freedom allow this privilege.

I'm not sure why so many others care so much about what he's talking about. He's not that important IMHO.

"fine line between ignorance and hatred..they kind of go hand in hand. yes, he can say what he wants but he bears the consequences for his blatant stupidity and all the publicity that comes with it being a public figure. i don't feel bad for him. i hate this mentality that ppl feel that they are 'entitled' to an opinion..no, ppl that know something are entitled to an opinion..you (not you specifically tiki )are entitled to vote."

+1 I don't feel bad for him either

Did he bear the consequence? He's back on television, matter of fact he never left since A&E ran repeat episodes.

I'm sure A&E knew this guys back story before ever allowing him/them to have a show to begin with. Money talks.

This is America and people have fought and died just so people just like Phil can have an opinion.

What opinions we choose to have is up to us.
