Ugh I can't sleep. My hubby is sick & i need to stay healthy right now, so I'm not sleeping in the bed with him until he's no longer contagious.

There are no other beds, blankets or pillows. I've tried bunching up a bunch of clothes to help support my back and hips, but it's not enough. I'm too bony and my bones basically press right through the clothes down to the floor. Ouchy. And I'm using the one towel we have as a sad excuse for a blanket.

Any other ideas? I'm a camping FAIL lol

I'm a side and back sleeper btw

Do you have a sleeping bag or can you borrow one? Can you remove the cushions from your couch and sleep on those? Try covering yourself with a coat or a down jacket if it's cold where you live.

Just take an over-the-counter antiinflammatory painkiller as a preventive measure on the morning you feel your throat is getting a little sore. I say 'morning' bc that's when you usually feel it the most before there's a full outbreak. Just don't "wait n see" for another day... that way you won't get a full outbreak, maybe just a running nose. If even that. Always works for me.
