How the fuck is NH leaning Trump?? They're supposed to be a blue state!!

fuck.

It always depends on which counties get counted first

Yah, I saw after that only 50 total votes had been counted. lol

But I still don't like it, because it sets a bad mental precedent for those who hadn't voted yet 😛

On the other hand, our own analysis suggests that in several key states the minority share of the early vote this year is indeed smaller than in 2008 and 2012. Even as Latino early voting has increased, the growth among whites has been even larger.

Fascinating, the strategy of Trump to take a larger share of the white vote rather than reach out to minority votes (as declared to be the correct strategy after the Mitt Romney loss) may be paying off.

Its not about race.

Its about class--those who are monied who play the lower classes against the middle (Bourgeoisie).

Classic Marxism.

Its not Trump playing the game. He's trying to turn over the chess board.

It's about political strategy and race happens to fall into it. I'm just surprised that it is working because it is against all known, or at least mainstream political thought.

Mainstream political thought = status quo.

Think about how that status quo is working for you.

I do all right because I read it.

But in general, status quo (currently) is not good.

I dont think it's a surprise to anyone that Trump's political strategy has been to go for most white voters, specifically non-college educated and working class white voters. It has never been relevant in the past but it has been now.

I have a feeling this is going to come down to Cali.

It's pretty much over for Clinton. Even with the west coast states and what she's currently leading, she can't make 270.

Did the numbers.. If they both win the states they are leading in now, a win in Cali, Wash, OR, and a combination of two of NV/Idaho/AK/HI wins her the election

She'll win Hawaii...not sure about NV. She won't win ID or AK.

yep.

ID and AK will go to Trump for sure. NV is a battleground state.

she'll get the west coast for sure.

the silver lining is pot should be legal here in Cali, so I'll have that to deal with the grief.

Yeah can't wait for my neighbor smoke up a storm in our shared ventalazion system n get second hand high.

Annoying as fuck

Already happening with some people I know.

The sad thing is, the United States election is not just for USA alone. Sadly, the President of the United States is one of the most powerful positions in politics. The outcome of our election affects the entire world.

I have to say, I really did overestimate the intelligence of the US population.

I'm honestly shocked.

I'm still not over the fact he was a candidate for presidency to begin with.... ... now you might actually elect him...

Just be thankful that you're a Canadian citizen and you're not unlucky enough to be stuck in the US. 😢

I feel like we could throw Big Bird into the primaries in 4 years, and he'd have a legit shot as a presidential contender.

Seriously

We basically have a Kardashian running in Trump

As a child, I despised Big Bird! I wanted to beat his square, preppy arse like a piñata. Now, Grover, he is presidential material. Incompetent, yes, but what president isn't? 😄

Alright, peeps. In times like this, when we're on the cusp of a major governmental disaster, the best thing to do is go to bed. I gots homework, Zumba, and weight training tomorrow.

The only "positive" I can see from a Trump win is that he will be a shock to the system of America. His win and appointment as president may be just the flame we all need under our complacent, passive, politically unaware bums. He is the antithesis of what we want America to stand for, he is our hypocrisy - loud, abbreassive, and hard to ignore and deny. His bad hair symbolizes the shortcomings we hate in ourselves but haven't quite mustered the proactiveness to actually do something about them. Maybe a Trump win is what we need to inspire activism.

Wit that said, may God have mercy on all of our souls.

Goodnight

Has nothing to do with race, hun. But you keep on believing that.

it mostly has to do with class and levels of education. Race does play a role in there also.

Google any Trump rally and you'll hear hostile rhetoric.

Maybe some, both sides have their share of troglodites. But I've watched 2 or 3 of his rallies and really just saw an upswell of enthusiasm for an American regeneration and a condemnation of the status quo.

It's not even about class. It's about domestic economics, basically. If you actually look at his policy points, it will do more to help the majority of Americans and will hurt the government class and 1% .
