The television series The Walking Dead airs October 31st, 10PM EST on AMC. The same channel that produces such AWESOME shows as Madmen and Breaking Bad.

They're also airing horror flicks all this week until the premiere of the show. I am in horror flick heaven!

i so get what ya mean, i used to watch eastenders, coronation street amd hollyoaks but not anymore now, but when i do watch the odd episode it doesn't take long for me to figure out what's going on lol. there's never really any major improvements or changes just different situations? it's a pile of shit really.
Even on the Christmas specials when someone some fucker dies it's always a car crash or some old got falling down stairs, or in the rare occasion you hear an anonymous gun shot followed by footsteps

Hahahaha... I know! For a show that caters to the teens... they sure are morbid!

Just before the Christmas break... something REALLY dramatic happens on Neighbours, like someone dies or gets cancer or raped... or there is cheating on spouses... its quite sick really!

I dont know if you got this show, but used to be this day time soap here in Aust called "Passions"
FUCK that show was frustrating! It had more scandal than Melrose and 90210 put together but it took 216731 episiodes to get ANYWHERE!! You could literally watch ONE episode... miss 100 and STILL nothing had happened!!

I gave up in the end...

it must be like that for every soap. sometimes it's really bad, as in realistic and depressing

Catfish and I debated the coolness of zombies for a good hour or so last night. finding someone who appreciates the slow vs fast zombie issue isn't easy but i lucked out.

I'm pretty sure I don't and even if I did I'd probably forget to turn on the t.v. when it aired ... I'll wait till a couple seasons come out and buy it in a case so I can watch it movie style .

You are lucky. Finding someone who will have a conversation about zombies at all is hard to begin with haha

Bruce muthafucking Campbell is the man. Loved him in the Evil Dead stuff and Bubba Ho Tep. My friend got to meet him at Comic Con this year and she also took me to meet the king of zombie movies, George A. Romero.

Tubbs, this was FANTASTIC. They actually put some effort into the gore. I was pleased. I even signed up for a chance to be a walk on ZOMBIE on a episode lol.

yeah, i really liked it too. there were a few moments where i actually did feel a twinge of suspense and i am interested to see how the story develops even outside of the zombies. i mean, was his friend fuqing his wife before the zombie outbreak!?!

i also like how it remains consistent with AMC's other shows as far as imagery and foreshadowing. i'm not sure if you caught it but you know that scene when he's riding into ATL? did you notice that all the cars were going AWAY from the city? like if this is supposed to be a mecca, a safe haven, why is everyone trying to get out?

I DID notice that about the ATL scene. Subtle foreshadowing at its best. I was shooting the shit with a buddy of mine who read the graphic novel and he's really happy about the adaptation. He mentioned that it no means did the show even rush the first part of the story. I'm stoked about next week 😛

and what made the horse scene great is that in this show, unlike what you see in the movies, the zombies actually consume their prey. in most movies, they start eating but then move on to the next live prey which is unrealistic. there should never be a corpses with meat on them technically...as the zombies would naturally consume them all down to the bones.

I still want to know why no one can SMELL these mo'fo's. Lessens the sneakability factor. Nom on my brain? Um no, I'll have run 5 miles away by then, beating cheeks.

Yea I was wondering the same thing too but I'm assuming you can't just pop the clutch and floor that bad boy lol.
