Wow! That would not fly here in the US. I’m assuming this is how she is with everyone. She would get complaints and wouldn’t last long. Customer service people are the faces of their organization and will lose business by being rude. The overlords don’t like that.

I am starting to believe its okay to talk like that. Can you please spell it out for me why its unacceptable even though i have lost lots of cards in the past?
It is not her position to be judge and jury.. she needs to know her role is in customer service. I would have let that bitch have it 😒 meaning I would have given her an ear full lol 🗣🗣🗣
You wouldve said ho? One of those rare moments when I dont want to be a taurus, I am too lazy and placid to even raise my voice. In that situation it was called for though. This really is acceptable behavior in germany, we are rude. Of course foreigners think we are judgemental and dismissive. So please keep telling why this is wrong. Because to me it normal, because people behave lika that everywhere. Sometimes I want to move out of germany.
I would have been like “I didn’t call you to be chastised. Can you get me the new card or not, hoe?” 😑😑😂😂click to expand

Hi,
I live in germany which is known for horrible customerservice. I lose stuff a lot, like my debitcard. I just went to the bank, to get a new one. There was an old woman who got
snarky. She said, I dont know if you can keep your affairs in order, but a new card costs 8 Euro. My reply: "thank you for the flowers". Her: Well, if you have the money keep loosing your debitcard. This is how customerservice people talk in germany. I ve seen it happen in banks, in gov. buildings. I`d like to know what people outside of germany think of that. Is that incompetent? Would she get fired in another country? You dont imply that a customer doesnt keep his shit togehter. I do, I am just the adhd, absend professor type.

It is definitely not acceptable but I've met and worked with so many of them.
They came of rude to not just external even internal customers. I've been in hospitality for a very long time before I switch to recruitment and I tell you, I always fought with those rude individual, behind the scene because I just couldn't stand them doing that especially to old people.
I can't even stand people who refused to clap their hands after watching a musical show etc etc. I think showing appreciation is something that we all should have as a normal human being.
However, I've also met those great people with amazing peopling skills. My husband is one of those. Along with his Pisces bf, they are so good with handling even the most difficult customers!
I certainly can't deal with rude people and they shouldn't even be in hospitality or front service!
