Has anyone else noticed since covid life feels like it's been sped up 100% ?

Like people always joked as you get older life speeds up. But covid took that to a whole new level. Months feel like weeks, weeks feel like days, and where are you? I feel like I go to the bathroom once, and a week went by. Where is this "life" we were promised? Is it over already, and we just haven't caught up yet? Or was it even supposed to ever matter to begin with?

Asking for a friend.

We have been in a 270 year time loop and we are on the precipice of exiting out of it. It’s painful and feels pointless for so many atm.

Nope. Many people realised what really mattered for them and left the rat race.

Also, we perceive that time is running faster if our life is lacking novelty. It is a retrospective feeling caused by how our memory works. We don’t know where the time went, because we have fewer memories of those hours, days, months and years, since there was nothing worthwhile remembering. Perhaps the novelty of the situation during pandemic set the threshold too high for some of us.

My memory was already really bad, now after dealing with an infant for almost a year I can definitely say how I don’t remember much from covid. It feels like a total blur. I think it took a good 1.5 years of my life before I started doing normal things again.

I just checked my photo roll from that time and let me tell ya 2020 is full of lots of downloaded memes. I got so bored so near the end of the year I tried getting super into new skincare and caused an allergic reaction on my face (trying chemical peels and prescription strength stuff kinda wrong). I wasn’t able to put makeup on for a few months without burning sensations. Around early 2021 started feeling more comfortable going out shopping, trying to take advantage of others’ fear of being out yet. Then people went full fed up of staying home by mid-2021.

Novelty releases more dopamine and dopamine has some function in how we perceive time.

As you get older it does speed up! lol we definitely lost some time in Covid, but for me it wasn’t wasted. I used it to accomplish some goals, slow down & realize what was important & what wasn’t.

It slowed way down for me. I got a chance to stop and smell the flowers, enjoy sunrises, sunsets, etc

For just one moment, the world was half-united in solidarity but now people choose sides. I think we just didn't adapt to pre-covid conditions and our lives just drift apart more easily now than before

So, what's next, blaming the entire demise of a relationship on Capricorns? Is it really about a zodiac sign dictating everything or perhaps something deeper, more complex? Relationships are a two-way street, not a cosmic play. Instead of scapegoating astrology, maybe dig into the real reasons behind the breakup.

😂😂😂😂must be a Capricorn

You're stupid.

And when it's pointed out to you ... you come back and prove to everyone that you are actually stupid.

lol

I don’t know why you are allowed back on Dxpnet, when it is this behavior and your overall general demeanor that breaks the TOU. That woman ended up deleting her messages from this thread because of you. You must be so proud of yourself. 👏

How old are you? I heard from an older man I worked with that it goes very fast. I was just celebrating turning 30 and he said, “you think 0-30 went fast? 30-60 goes faster!” And he is right! It is why it is important to live your life for you and what you think is right for you.
