A Romanian literature teacher I had in school always emphasized how completely immersed we are in words. You see it around DXP all the time when people perceive agression coming from people and get in a rage. It's only words typed on a website.
He used a metaphor once, saying people actually EAT words. If someone puts a platter in front of you and you see something smelling delicious, you would never taste it if someone told you it's shit. Like, actually shit.
Don't know what point I was trying to make...Yeah, words are extremely powerful. Not to neglect emotional and physical abuse but keep insulting someone for a number of years and their self-esteem will take a dive. Especially if it comes from an authority figure, like your parents.

Piece of shit parents have no color. Just as many white parents are piles of shit as black parents.
White kids in the system are abused at the same rate as black children in the system. Their lives are tragically cut short at the same rate. Skin color makes no difference.
Pointing out this child's skin color is unnecessary. It devalues the experiences of the white, mixed, Hispanic, etc children that occur each and every day.
It's a child. Not a race card to play.

True. I will agree on both points. The adoption laws here are the main reason my parents decided to go overseas, I believe. Too many loopholes, some of which allow for the birth parents to show up *years* down the road and file for custody.

Black children barely get adopted, so state taking them is akin to MORE abuse in my opinion. Most of these kids turn up sexually, mentally, and physically abused in said institutions...and foster homes are even more of a nightmare.
I talked to this one kid who was on a foster home once on the bus, long ago, and she was complaining to me that her foster family called her the "N" word..and the kids beat up on her...shameful
Anyways the parents definitely should get some parenting classes.

I'm a tad shocked that you are ok with this video and how this child is being raised. Being that you are a cancer and family means everything to your sign, or I thought. Verbal abuse is still abuse and can sometimes worse than a spanking. This child will be scared for the rest of it's life. Not every child placed in foster care or states care has bad situations. Who knows, perhaps he has loving grandparents that ill step up and raise him.

With the elder adults in jail, Kierra Johnson, 19, was left to keep the house in order.
But later she phoned social workers after becoming overwhelmed with the burden of child care while the Deverses were locked up.
But officials said the child was taken out of the home due to a gaggle of gang members that frequent the house and a history of violence in the home.
The state had foot the bill twice to have the family relocated — but known gang members were still allowed to roam the home and guns were brandished near the child, investigators discovered.
