I would venture to say that many regular DXP users have IQs north of 115-120.

Probably not far off.
Then again, I suspect in a lot of cases the behavior is akin to burying your money under a manure pile in the back yard rather than investing it and making an 8% ROI

My IQ usually registers fairly high... in fact borderline abnormally high. I really think the only reason for it is my mathematical acuity -_-

I think those tests... at least the ones the focus a lot on math are biased because anyone if they applied themselves could learn most of the math I learned in college... it doesn't make anyone a genius. Honestly I think I'm kinda slow haha and I have A.D.D. go figure.

I gave up when I took a Mensa test, then contacted them to correct an erroneous question where more possible answers were available than what were listed.
Got offered a membership, but the admission of error on their behalf was not acceptable.

Its really all about what you do with what you have.

I could qualify but idgaf. Can you imagine how awkz the conversations at those meetings would be?

Yeah.
"Hey, I'm wonderful"
"So am I"
"Me too"
"My arm is hurting from patting myself on the back"
"Hey, is that rapper person tonight's entertainment?"
"No, I think he's the highest scoring person at the meeting"
"Yo, why are all you peeps curled up like babes in yo momma?"

I'm really good at everything but the math part. LOL Even having a good IQ I couldn't pass the basic college math requirement twice. πŸ˜›

Dunno the purpose of a high IQ. Intelligence itself doesn't make for academic success. But I got put in all the advanced classes so I guess I was exposed to higher level subjects which helped for college. Personally, I think a lot of people would improve if the education system wasn't so complacent these days.

IQ is a measure of potential.
One of the smartest individuals I have ever known worked his entire life in a steel mill.
Built his own saw mill, was working out a steam fired power plant to work machinery that astounded my college educated self, and came up with some sophisticated programming using "Basic" (as sophisticated as one could do with Basic) with nothing more than a High School education.

He lived a good life, unpretentious. Was of more value than any IQ test or society membership could confer.

You caught me in an honest moment. Don't tell anybody.
