Nostalgia - The moments in time we love to tell over and over

We all have those spur of the moment adventures that we love to take, share yours.....

Mine:

My friend and I were around 18 and it was a Saturday night. Bored we thought we would like to go for a swim in the ocean and watch the sunrise.

We packed a road trip bag of coffee and set off in the car. Bearing in mind the nearest ocean to where we lived was a 8 and a half hour drive from home. We got there just as the sun was coming up, swam in the sea for an hour and made our long trek home.

It's an adventure I will never forget, one of the most expensive swims I have ever had (petrol, toll gates etc), but one of my fondest memories

i often look back on the times where i would lay on my back in my mother's beautiful lawn, the crisp perfectly manicured grass was always so soft and green and full, like nature's bed...

and i would lie there feeling the cool earth on my back, eyes to the sky, watching the clouds float by or the stars twinkling, following the curvature of the earth as far as my eyes and imagination would take me...

i long for that grass...

I was very close to my Aries father. He and I used to have our "special day" which would be a Sunday. We would go for drives around the city, he'd buy me a toy or ice cream and I just remember myself sitting on the passenger seat feeling so happy and free.

I've always felt he was the only person who truly understood me. One of the last conversations I had with him was when he told me "You'll always be my little princess"

I miss him every single day.

The birth of my first born, a Taurus male child. I picked his sun sign as we planned our pregnancy. So, I wanted and liked all the Taurus male traits.

Anyway, I'm a strong proponent of breastfeeding. He as a 10 lb. baby. While still in the hospital, it seemed he was always hungry and being a doting new mother, and with him being so beautiful, I didn't really notice how much he was feeding. The nurses would try to tell me.

So, I'm drained. The nurse wakes me to take my blood pressure and asks for my arm. I pull out my boob instead.
