FB didn't exist in '92. A lot of people poke me. I must appear pokable. Don't like it though.

What does it means when people poke you on Facebook? I've been poked by random strangers on MySpace when I had MySpace music account. I was widely known then.
I used to think it meant, "You've been quiet. What's Up"? But I get poked even when I'm around and posting so there goes that theory.

How do you feel about poking on Facebook? Do you poke? Do you like being poked by others?
I don't enjoy being poked there. None of my closest friends do it. They know better. LoL. But people who are friends of friends poke me incessantly. If I poke them back just to be done with it, they'll just poke me again a few minutes later ! I usually let my pokes accumulate and once a month I'll poke everybody back because I don't like to encourage poking.
I'd never unfriend or block anyone over something so small, but it annoys the butter out of me a lot of the time.
I know, may this be my biggest problem in life. You're right. I just needed to vent about poking. I don't understand the purpose of it. If I'm there people know what I'm up to, and if I'm not, I wouldn't see the pokes anyway. Jeez.
