Florida always acted like that, but I was just in NYC and there were still commercials, billboards, and signs about it
A lot of places still had “masks required” signs on the doors…though I didn’t notice it being enforced
After I got it a couple times there was really no convincing me I needed a vaccine anymore

That's what made it scary. They focused more on the politics. I recently got a job somewhere semi-rural(I've mostly lived in large cities) and they don't require it for work and everything is much more relaxed. I understand both sides but in the end they all change so might as well stick to what you know.

I live in Florida, and we are Neanderthals apparently, but the company I work for never required it they just incentivetized it…but they also do the same for the flu shot every year

I literally almost had one today. The light turned green, so I went forward. Out of nowhere a car barely missed me barreling through a red light. A second sooner I'd have slammed right into them, or them into me. In a strange sick way it made me laugh a bit. Like every moment in my day fell in such a specific way, I missed a crash by a few seconds. Some people aren't so lucky I guess. I find that kind of amusing. Not people being unlucky, but how fleeting and unpredictable life truly is, and how every moment in a single day can result in something we never expected.
