St George's Day isn't a national holiday. If people want to be patriotic "flag shaggers" let them. It seems a bit unfair if other countries can celebrate patriotism, but people in the West are branded colonial sympathisers or worse racists.

People's beliefs are their own and nobody should tell people how to think. No doubt people have been upset before when people with a chequered past died: Mandela, Michael Jackson and a whole slew of drug addicted actors. If people want to celebrate the lives of others or mourn let them and let them unite in grief.

I agree people here celebrate not even their holiday just to drink

Cinco de mayo

In fact it’s not even a holiday it was invented lol

Why are we mourning a racist classist pedo protector again?

Everybody need to beside themselves and get over it already. The lady has lived a long healthy and prosperous life.

Na I wasn't covering up I was only speaking the truth. She did lived a long healthy prosperous life. At 96 I wouldn't call that young ahead of her time. And besides I never knew her or heard of her till her death. So I wouldn't know what crimes she committed.

Because the West still benefit from that colonial legacy to this day. Much of the wealth and standard of living we enjoy at this moment in time is because of that. Meanwhile, the opposite is true for former colonies. Independence in name only. Those structures have not been fully dismantled, neo-colonialism is alive and real. But you’re concerned with feelings being hurt because many people around the world share an opposing view.

The crime of being born into wealth and being white it would seem. Or maybe not apologising for historical crimes that happened 100s of years ago.

The Andrew thing was badly handled, but I think when the worst of it came out she had the death of her husband to deal with.

I'm not worried about feelings being hurt I want people to be free to express their beliefs. If someone likes the royal family and wants to honour them so what? Waving a flag and watching a funeral procession is hardly a big deal.

By all means. And by the same token people are allowed to express their grievances.

Personally I’m quite partial to the Queen as a person but it’s still fuck the monarchy all day everyday

2022 and this dumbed down take on colonialism is still the most mainstream narrative ☝️🤣

Here's some real talk instead

She was a p3dophile protecting other p3dophiles, r@ping - torturing and killing innocent children and people. Racist and classist also. She is burning in hell forever. 🙏

Wow that is pretty intense. You seem like you have some solid proof of that, which is absolutely fascinating to me!

How long have you been in the secret services? I can't believe you have so much knowledge and proof, yet it isn't common knowledge to most of the public. I will admit, I think that kind of fact would be exploited and know instantly, yet it's not?

I can't help to ask, why is that? I don't want to make you feel like I don't believe you. It's just find your post is so intense, you must have actual fact within. I'd be lying if I acted like I didn't want to see them.
