Scary as hell..
I really have no idea, like you said it's too early at the moment, I hope those reported injuries stay at 500. Will following this??_.
On the conspiracy side??_
Some trigger happy naughty mind would have detonated the incoming asteroid over the Russia, why would they have radiation control and as bling noted why 20k service men..?
DA-14 doesn't pass until tomorrow. If it was detonated then what was that.:?

There is actually a meteor that is supposed to come within a distance closer than the moon is to the earth... TODAY.No kidding.
The size of half a football field.
It's supposed to come within 7,000 miles of Earth.
NASA will have a live stream of it going past the Earth.

Scary as hell, the more I look at those small movie clips of the event the more reminding me about Armageddon the movie in real time.
@DazedScorp:Thanks!
@Qbone: Scary indeed. I forgot to turn down my speakers, and when I played the vid where you can hear the meteriod EXPLODE..I damn near almost had a heart attack.
ok it didnt crash into a factory it disintergrated in the atmosphere and landed in the mountains.......the reason everything exploded 5 minutes after the impact was the sonic boom in the air caused everything to explode

Meteorite 'could have devastated northern UK'

So long as it hits Hull I doubt many would worry (it smells of fish).
Yeah? Is that where they put the Chavs?
Posted by everevolvingepithet
Ah it would be nice if the UK could localise certain strains that's for sure. Alas this is not the case and they are free to roam the land (unless they've been tagged), although I like the idea of having them all in one place lol.
We have chav-like peoples here in Arizona. They're all crowded into a town called Apache Junction, altho some do escape into the surrounding areas 😛
Don't the Queen and them like fox hunting? 🙂 Or was it horse racing...hmm
The "supposed" fox story does sound fishy tho

So is it confirmed that it was a meteorite/meteoroid?
