Yes we had more life experiences and went through more. Some more than others. Everyone is different, and while some of us maybe had to grow up really fast, some of us didn’t and still act 21 at the age of 40 or 45.

But don’t you miss being wide eyed and ready for everything and anything? I do once in a while... but mostly not. I still get that feeling on my own yet I’m more aware. Not jaded. Just, more understanding of people.

I think that’s why a lot of people have mid-life crises. They’re craving a feeling which can never come back. I feel sorry for those folks. They need to learn to accept life as it comes. A journey. Not a destination.

I’ve made a lot of mistakes but I don’t regret a thing. I wouldn’t be who I am if my life didn’t happen the way it did.

Yet they’re ok with him seeing multiple women and every time he has them, which is not a lot, they meet someone new.
