Lol, right now we're about at a foot of snow. I kind of wish it would just stop because I have errands to run; ah well lol.
—What exactly do mean you ??pounded by snow??..—?
Correcting..

Damn keyboard.

its 26 right now in NY blizzard lets party lmao.
I'm in NJ. I already cleaned off my car twice and the wind was blowing the damn snowy ice in my face. It sucked.
No snow here but I would love to party with all of you...lol. It was actually pretty warm and sunny here today but it did get down to 21 last night and that is very cold for us! No rain though so there was no ice or snow. It was still bbbbrrrrr....
To all the people in the snow I am sending warm and snuggly thoughts your way!
🙂

We got less than an inch, Candeh, it didn't even cover the grass completely.
Jeeeezzzzz .... what is up with people like that? I have friends who say, we're going to get 2 feet of snow and then I watch the news and it's calling for that much in the Appalacians, not in DC !!!!
You're in Arlington .. you got less than an inch of snow .. not a foot.
Huge fucking difference

I don't live in Arlington lol. I'm in Fairfax. And I'm not there either. I'm 3 hours down south with my mother because I went home for a couple of weeks. We've got over a foot here, which is ironic considering we're by the water and NOVA has nothing...
Only maybe 4" in my neck of the woods... people get all weird over a little snow!! There is no one on the road, flights are canceled out of Philly and they canceled the Eagles game to boot! *smh*
The wind kinda sucks...

Lol, in my area, people freak out over 2 inches. I remember getting 2 or 3 snow days for something like that; also VA doesn't know how to handle snow at all.
Sucks that they cancelled the game! Who were they set to play? (Although, I've been kind of getting on the Eagles since I'm a Redskins fan and we've duked it out more than once... lol).
Nothing drives me more nuts than packed supermarkets because of the prediction of snow. You'd think they were preparing for Armageddon.
Yep, where they wipe out bread and milk in a great stampede of goofiness.
*silently passing over the aloe gel with lidocaine*
ROFLMAO That poor dejected face!
UGH TOC, that sounds miserable. Lidocaine a numbing agent. Hives I assume?
Ok, seriously? I think it may just be Armageddon out there. 😢
Fairfax and Arlington are right next to each other ... same thing.
@Candeh-- You are in Southeast Virginia(Mom's), right? You guys got over a foot/ Up here in Jersey, my area got 30" Yikes!!!
The December 2010 North American blizzard was a major nor'easter and blizzard affecting the United States of America from portions of North Carolina to Maine on December 26—27, 2010. It is the first significant winter storm of the 2010-2011 winter season and the fourth overall North American blizzard of 2010. The storm affected the northeast megalopolis which includes major populated cities such as Norfolk, Philadelphia, New York City, Hartford, Providence, and Boston. The storm brought between 12 inches (30 cm) to 32 inches (81 cm) of snow in many of these areas.
WCAU-TV in Philadelphia forecast a snowfall of between 10 inches (25 cm) and 20 inches (51 cm) in Philadelphia itself (which received 12.2 inches (31 cm)), while nearby Trenton, New Jersey and parts of southern New Jersey were expected to receive snowfalls of 20 inches or more. Wind gusts were expected to reach between 40 miles per hour (64 km/h) and 50 miles per hour (80 km/h).[3] Areas in eastern North Carolina and south eastern Virginia have seen upwards of 12 inches (30 cm) of snow.

Yep, that's where I am right now! Southeast Va. And I know, it's just that over a foot of snow is rare here because it's a lot warmer than other places in Va. This snow was nothing compared to the snow we got in Northern Virginia last year during the two blizzards we had which got us up to like 3 feet of snow. But, I heard about Jersey! A few of my friends were in Jersey for the holidays and I heard how bad it got. The wind was definitely the worst part, though. Without it, the snowfall or even driving would have been fine. There were a lot of cars that got stranded and people spinning out and such.

Hehe...yup! We're both experiencing the same kind of maniacs in NJ! I didn't even know a snowstorm was coming until it started snowing. Wind drifts had the snow up to my waist!

Hives? No... I have had that before though when I was young from eating too much chocolate 😄I got stung on my wrist and my whole arm is swollen... and feels bruised.
It's ok, nothing major...
My gem/taur nephew got stung on his back too... Hahaha man I laughed 😄 he squealed like a lil bitch...
He isn't allergic though...
'
FUCK THAT BEE
I will wreck his nest so hard. Lol let him know
A friend in Toms River (NJ) posted this on FB
LOL LOL LOL
:X
Also, some of my cousins were pouting that they got snowed in over in New Brunswick.
I don't feel bad for them. I wish I didn't have to go to work too. Basterds
observe how NOT buried under the snow EVERY OTHER CAR IN THE PICTURE IS...i'm pretty sure this blizzard actually froze hell over too. haha
Omg is that your poor little car—

No, thankgod! I parked in the garage for the snow. Its a friends in the city.
I was seriously not made for all that.
If I would have walked out and saw that, I'd just start crying (& hope some man would walk by and feel bad for me) 😛

I'd just walk back in the house.🙂
I read the East coast had it bad weather wise, but lots of snow is always a good excuse to not go to work and stay at home where it's nice and toasty.🙂
Lol, definitely not good for travel, though. Whether by car or plane.
Not if you have to shovel that shit either!
I just pay the guys who come around with their truck and shovels to do it for me though 🙂
lol He's such a douche. Trying to prove he's still a 'hustler' Pfft.

Im in Luxembourg right now, the snow is a lot worse than in The Netherlands and today I went to Trier in Germany as well for some shopping/sightseeing and its bad bad bad too. Yesterday was cool though, played in the snow like a kid with my cappy..and a sled lol fast stuff going down the hill.
I swear the only time I went sledding was as a kid in Germany.
Yes, def. posh. That's reasonable as I'm sure their driveways/walkways are huge. Plus this snow is really heavy, harder to shovel.
They charged me 60 around here, so.

Nah. My mother is American as is my father. My mother worked at the Embassy for a few years hence why I was in Germany. My extended family is from Europe, though.
