No, this isn't a PSA actually. I just need some help/resources.

First off, I live in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. I believe I have come across a kitten (someone wants to give him away for free after finding him because she is allergic) and I would love to take him on, but I am unsure as to where I can find a place that provides affordable surgeries to get him neutered as well as get his shots. Is it possible that the SPCA or the Humane Society might be able to provide this? Any help appreciated, thanks!

They should be able too. If not they can certainly direct you towards alternate sources that could. As to the allergies if you bathe kitty it helps. Since most are allergic to saliva/dander a regular bath alleviates symptoms. Ironically most are not allergic to their own pet, but someone elses. Good luck with kitty boy. I'm all for neutering early. 🙂

Yes. Get your pets fixed.
Unwanted animals do nothing but suffer.

If people really knew how much animals suffer at the hands of piece of shit humans, we would all go out right now and save a rescue pet.

You will never experience TRUE LOVE, the kind only a pet who is loved can offer.

When do we get pictures of the kitten!

Hopefully soon! I am in the process of moving into my new apartment, so it probably wouldn't be for a couple of weeks or so. I am actually going to look at a few foster kittens in my area and in DC that have already been spayed/neutered and are up-to-date of their shots. So far, I'm looking at a beautiful gray kitten with a little white spot on its chest and a tabby kitten with very cool markings.

I've owned cats before, but they are staying with my mother back home, so I figured a nice start to a new life would be to have a new companion (besides my boyfriend of course, but I can't cuddle him all the time like I can a kitten lol).
