Even better is using those fancy pistols with the sideways grip gang members are fond of using.
Smh
The future of warfare is a tank that shoots ninja gorillas.
I mean CGI, movie gorillas, that wreck shit. With dual katanas.

Like in Equilibrium?
Pretty much. A Gunkata if I say
If it were possible I'd like to see a fighting style with a gunblade like final fantasy.
Mechanically a gun is efficient, a sword is efficient, but combining them isn't.
If it could be made in an efficient fashion, I think a master fighter with a gunblade would look epic.
Equilibrium the movie was a mish mash of several stupid ideas that worked surprinsingly well together and is a pretty cool movie.
The idea to adapt an imaginary (and rather dumb) martial art to real life sounds rather childish and I would probably not even adress it normally, that being said I think it's not completely meritless.
One technique of martial arts is that the repetition of movements (kata) will help you execute the movement without thinking and very fast and gunkata could work somehow.
I mean if you train yourself to unsheat your gun(s) and get in a firing position very fast, it could be useful in some situations and if you learn to make it a reflex move, you could then work on getting precision to your shots.
If you train to use the very gay positions of the movie you could even surprise some opponents, provided they're the type of dumb movie opponents that surround you menacingly and wait for your move.
That being said, if you are in a situation where you have to use guns like that, you probably have more important problems to think about.
But if you plan to join ISIS or sthg like that, I'd say go for it

I was talking about the movie version, where christian bale is pretty static, not like the guy in the youtube vid you posted who goat-jumps like an idiot

It's pretty much applying what's learned in martial arts into using Guns and such. Pretty interesting idea, but does the execution work well?
