I get that. And without going to drs to be exposed to more, the best course of treatment for a virus is hydrating and rest. The worry comes from the possibility of shit shutting down for a month.. people like me that have 2 babies under 2 years old have to make sure we have formula, or baby food, and items like diapers and wipes.

The bad news is the virus is novel and highly contagious, and right now there is no vaccine. I don't think the ibuprofen claim has been peer reviewed, but corticosteroids have been. Patients put on hydrocortisone/prednisone to reduce inflammation have worse outcomes, possibly because steroids are immunosuppressive.

One night I awoke because I couldn’t breath then cleared flem. But no fever so who knows

It was temporary for me, no history of asthma or bronchitis. I needed the inhaler for a few months. I had been sick and after I thought I should have recovered I was still having problems. I had phlegm but it wouldn't come up and I couldn't take a deep enough breath to get it out. Lasted 2 weeks before I called. Doc said my chest sounded like an accordion.
Now and then I get wheezy so who knows, but never like that since.
I'm just curious how many of you think this just popped up with millions of people that traveled over the holidays.

I have a feeling that majority of the people have already had it when they were sick months back. Not everyone goes and gets tested for the flu or a cold and the only reason we are seeing an increase is due to the mass panic and now having tests for it. I wish the people that were fighting something like this months ago could of been tested...I bet it would come back positive.
Hell people are misdiagnosed every damn day...so to say those numbers they give are correct...meh, I'm sorry I just wouldn't rely on it. I remember a couple years ago when the flu hit my city pretty bad...I lost my voice (I have Barrett’s esophagus...losing you voice is not good sign), I was already having bad anxiety so I went to the ER where a nurse listen to my heart beat thru my coat. I didn't even see the doc but yet I was diagnosed with a severe respiratory infection. 😐. I told the nurse that I wasn't sick...I didn't feel sick. She told me that I wouldn't 😐. Turns out...I wasn't...I lost my voice due to acid reflux per a gastroenterologist.
I'm just saying...you can't believe everything that's put out there and this virus has already been here. They are creating mass hysteria for something that should be common sense when you're sick and that a vast majority of people have already went thru. But keep on with believing the same crap they push on us.... government and government agencies have never been wrong and only have ever looked out for the good of the people. 🙄.
I'm not saying "flattening the curve" is a bad thing especially to not over crowd the hospitals but I do think they are going overboard.
And to the people wishing death on someone and I don't care if you like him or not.... you're a horrible person and remember karma is a bitch.
