I have an aqua co worker who is so upset and angry with another co worker, he is willing to give in his notice.

I can't understand how upset he is over a petty argument.

Both aquas btw.

He says he can't stand the sight of him and will probably blow up one day and he doesn't want to reach that point.

I've tried telling him his anger is his own and no one can make you that upset!

He doesn't get it.

What say you...crew?

Just tell him to get over it and not to be such a pussy. We all have to work with people we hate, sometimes I've worked with people that seriously made me wanna take them into the backroom and crush their bodies in the baler but, I usually do a one-on-one with them first. As in "We need to talk" type stuff. And I usually follow with "What's your deal? We have to work together so I'm' not trying to make friends but we need to solve this so it doesn't effect others or our jobs." it usually works. One person I hated over a year and then we were forced to work alone together, we ended up best friends because we just saw things differently and finally understood where the other came from.

Try maybe changing schedules around or place them in different areas? There's always more options before just GIVING UP.

Sometimes it's best to just move on ......

I've been there.

this. it's not dramatic when someone you have to work closely with causes you daily stress. sometimes people just don't get along and there's nothing that'll change that fact besides getting away..

Detachment. Yello! But I guess this depends on a person & their coping capabilities. There's 2 people I don't like at my job but I'd never leave because of them because they do not exist as far as I'm concerned. Only time I acknowledge their existence it's when it has to do with the task at hand, after that they are back to nothingness. It is possible to choose your inner world & what occupies it. Whatever people are just whatever to me, won't let them ruin my day. There's always the HR department if another employee is making your life a living hell at work. Unless it's the boss that's doing it, in that case I'd leave too. Another employee- not a chance!

It's the principle, APC-- not the petty details.

And someone has to go-- sounds like he's not willing to compromise (which is fine), but he also knows

that it may not be pretty if it turns into a showdown (it will).

That town's not big enough for the both of them. 😄

Looks like they went into God mode. Aqua men will do anything to prove how a situation bothered them, even if it means destroying their own reputation in the process. This is an assumption, and 80% of aqua men would fight me over it. Again they tend to go into God mode.

My youngest brother is an Aqua, and you are correct, sir.

Psycho, know it all, sociopath that is incapable of disagreeing in a rational manner.

He sounds dramatic. To leave your job because of another person...no way. He can always avoid him or just be civil with him when it comes to work related issues, other than that- ignore, ignore, ignore.

It is completely bizarre to me that he's seriously going to quit. I've never seen how stubborn an aqua can be until now.

He comes off so open and smooth, it's not apparent in most cases.

I would ignore till the cows came home.

He hates him so much?

You need to stay clear of this APC. I'm not saying this will happen, but if a couple of Fixed Signs go to war with one another, you don't want to be a "blue helmet" (UN peacekeeper).

Continuing the military metaphor, as was said (with horrified mystification) by a Persian about the ancient Greeks:

"These Greeks make war on one another in the most irrational way possible. They find the fairest, flatest piece of ground available and do battle against each other so that even the victor is horribly damaged. Of the defeated nothing need be said, for they are usually annihilated. As they are all Greeks, one would think they would send out heralds and resolve the matter."

This is the Fixed Sign way of war. And it is no place for a Pisces to be.

Great metaphor, I will try my best to stay out. I mean I was concerned about him quitting his job over it but hey, it's his choice-- however reckless it seems to me.

Yeah being a fixed sign myself,I don't do well with other fixed signs with the exception of my BFF and fianc?e. It's blood and gore every where LOL When two stubborn people lock horns they can't think logically. They either want to kill each other or rule. Walking away before someone dies is an Aquarian way.

That's what he was saying, he felt like physically hurting the guy...
