You might want to explain this long distance thing. I'm imagining Europe where meeting up is still viable. Also did you make your feelings known because if you're friendzoning yourself then you're just making yourself miserable.
Not that it's a reasonable way to treat a friend but this isn't limited to Aquas, people of all types would frequently enjoy the company of the people they adore more.
I fall into the category of not knowing from friends until much later. I wonder why they distance themselves when it's something I can address if they had just spoken up. It's not like you can use physical contact to convey your feelings in this situation so you might as well be straight forward with your words.
If you are truly fine with the way things are panning out then own it. Don't let it consume you later on is all I can say. Most of my relationships start out as friendships to me it's the same thing.
Thank you for your advice, aquasnoz!
I'm going to take some time to cool off first and I'm going to do as you say and just tell him. And he can just do whatever he wants with it. I suppose that also means I'm going to have to tell him that I know about the other girl as well.
Questions?
1. Is he coming home?
2. When?
3. Why can't he have as many long distance friendships as he wants?
If you do not know the answers to questions 1 and 2 move on with your life.
1 and 2 have the same answer: It's indefinite.
We talked just now and we decided to let this go for now. I'm not the kind of person who wants to stand in line, fighting for attention. I'm at peace with the decision.
Thank you for the advice 🙂
You have only been fab with him this far and to boot he's in another country. He's free to do what he wants. If it doesn't suit you any longer, let him know.

Ugh
And? What's the problem? There's no commitment? Why can't he see another girl? Why don't you see another guy? Really, what's the point of confronting him? Accept it or move on. You really have no cause to complain about it.
There really isn't a problem anymore. I've talked to him already, told him how I felt and we decided that friendship - without the inverted commas - would be the best option now.
