These are native to my neck of the woods...North Carolina. People are always killing them because they think they're tropical and give them the wrong things. Here's a link to care for them:

or Steak and Cheese. I think Fruit Roll-Ups and Gummi Flies are okay for them.
They also enjoy listening to the Little Shop of Horrors movie soundtrack during the Holidays.
No but seriously...take pics when you get them. They are fascinating.
They have these pitcher plants at these botanical gardens back home.
They close their little trap door when something falls in and they drown it in this liquid in the bottom of the plant.
They get little frogs sometimes :/ pretty wild
they stink too, btw
